The emergence of a video from 2007 in which then Senator Barack Obama made some racially incendiary remarks was dismissed as old news and an act of desperation by Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt.
The appropriate time for anyone to have raised this issue has long passed, LaBolt insisted. What the President may have said or done before he was the President is no longer relevant. What matters now is what the President has done while hes held the office. Voters should be focusing on his record as President and not get bogged down in reviewing ancient history.

A lengthy chuckle for that one John.
Voters should be focusing on his record as President
Works for me...
Then why is the Obama campaign bringing up things Romney did before? His high school days, dog, taxes, etc.?
Inquiring minds want to know!
Ignoring for a moment the rampant hypocrisy of such a statement when the left continues to try to vilify Mitt over Bain capital...and ignoring for a moment the utter stupidity of ignoring the past... (how else do you learn?)
Let's look at hussein's record as President. Nationalized student loans. Took over car companies. Attempting to nationalize health care. Bailed out banks. Unprecedented crony capitalism in failed green energy. Utterly failed foreign policy. Utterly failed economic policy. Record deficits. Dictatorial executive orders sidestepping the Constitution and checks and balances.
Yeah, lets have hussein run on his record, any time he'd like to own up to it. Oh, that's right. Everything bad that has happened has been Bush's fault. hussein wants us all to believe that if we see anything in his record we like, he did that. {snort} Everything he's done that you hate, well that was someone else, or he was "forced" to because of the GOP, etc. etc.
I know this is satire, but we cannot accept zero’s continuing strategy of saying everything has been asked and answered, or that it’s old news.
Sigh. Wish we had some real journalists in the main stream instead of liberals with knee pads.
Yes, I agree, racism is old news....
Whoops, I don’t think they meant to say what he’s done as president only is what matters. Not what he did but what he hopes to do next term and what Bush did matter.
