To be sure, the act of terrorism is also a “political topic” for the families of the four Americans that died in the attack as well as millions of Americans who are still grieving the loss of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, a foreign service information management office, and former Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods.
Sean Smith’s mother went on CNN on Wednesday and accused the Obama administration of telling her “outright lies” about the attack and said the White House was playing politics."
Translation: Waaaa, waaaaa! If McCain were the nominee, he wouldn’t have said anything! He would have let it go by now. Why can’t republicans be more like Lindsay Graham, who came to the defense of democrats this week when that evil Rand Paul put up ads against democrats who voted to give monetary aid to our enemies?? Perhaps her thesis is that the adminstration would have told truth, or at least been able to stick to their implausible lies, if Romney and Ryan had not called them on it?
President Clinton could at least rely on the Clinton News Network to frame the narrative in a manner that was favorable to the administration.
All I want is for someone to ask the administration if the reason this happened was because they believed the intelligence community.
And when they say yes, ask, “you mean like how George Bush believed the intelligence community with Saddam’s WMD’s? Where hearing after hearing was held? Where secrets were leaked?”
