Team Obamas: Benghazi is Romney & Ryan's Fault

Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter said Thursday that the “entire reason” the terrorist attack at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi that killed four Americans has “become the political topic it is” is because Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan talk about the attack.

To a certain extent, Cutter is correct. The MSM would have buried the Benghazi story along with Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans. They are reporting this story through gritted teeth and are spinning the abject failure of the Obama administration as a "bump in the road." They are even repeating the Obama lie that it was a failure of intelligence that made them blame the attack on a video. Even after other members of the Administration admitted they knew that the attack was a terrorist attack and the video had nothing to do with it.

Is Stephanie Cutter, who speaks for the president, still unaware that US intel had intercepts between jihadists "hours" after Libya attack?

They have a point. In order for Obama and the current Administration to be held responsible and accountable, they have to be deemed competent. They clearly are not anywhere close, and therefore cannot be at fault for anything that happens on their watch. They are quite right to point this out to the American people who were stupid enough to elect them in the first place.
