It Begins…Democrats Introduce Bill to Seal Obama’s Presidential Records

According to Judicial Watch, Rep. Edolphous Towns (D-NY) has introduced the Presidential Records Act Amendments of 2011. That bill would do with Obama’s presidential records what Obama has already done to his personal and collegiate records: Seal them up.

In an obvious effort to protect President Barack Obama, a group of congressional Democrats has introduced legislation to create an official process that will allow the commander-in-chief to keep presidential records secret after he leaves office.

Ironically, Obama revoked a similar George W. Bush order in one of his first official acts as president. In 2001 Bush penned an executive order severely limiting public access to his presidential records. Shortly after swearing in, Obama killed it as part of his much-ballyhooed commitment to government transparency. At the time, the new president claimed that he was giving the American people greater access to “historic documents.”

I understand the outrage - but think about it, do you want the media circus, and do you think it will really “drive a stake” into the democrats ?

I think us Americans are pretty numb. Even after Clinton LIED right to our faces people love him. Even though all this Global Warming crap has been exposed...people still listen to MSNBC. You are asking for a scandal that will do nothing but provide the media with countless hours of programming, and pundits with hours and hours of spin - not to even talk about the lawyers.

I give Benghazi as a perfect example.

I want the government to focus on entitlements (debt), taxes, and jobs and national security. Under typical circumstances they should keep their books balanced and deal with national security and leave everything else alone.

Ah, Kucinich just acted tough at the Benghazigate hearings. Obviously not, since he’s now offering cover for the Liar-in-Chief.

Yes, I want the media circus. I want the general public to know what this administration did. As long as the details are hidden the democrats who did this live to fight another day. They need to be destroyed.

I want the media circus, as well. What better way to expose the looting of America via the Cloward/Piven Strategy and the blatant closing of their eyes to John Corzine and the “missing” billions, the disenfranchisement of our military vote and everything else these socialists/marxist have perpetrated?

Then, after the media circus, the MEDIA needs exposure and culling.

Some may think Americans are stupid for having let perv Clinton get away with rape, but we didn’t have the alternative media then as we do now.

It doesn’t make any sense. Once the election is decided against Odumbo, the shredders will be operating 24/7. There will be very little info to find.

And what they can't hide ... they will Sandy Berger-ize.

Or Sgt Schultz-erize -

I know nothing!

I do not think the victims of a national rape should “lay back and enjoy it”... nor should they avoid pressing charges for “fear of embarrassment”.

Tell me who sweeping this under the rug serves. Not me, I can tell you that. Not conservatives. Not the Constitution.

Whose face is it, that you are so anxious to save, again?

As much as I would like the democrats to be destroyed as well.... I think you are wasting resources....

While Americans are hungry for work and the economy is in the tank I need my government fixing the problems. Judging legacy is the job of historians.

The “public” doesn’t pay attention nor with MSM support our desire to get the story out even if the records were unlocked.

(Remember the guy who stuff national security docs in his pants - you got nothing out of that)

It's not about Obama’s legacy. It is about the criminal operation in the White House.

The thing that sets us apart from other countries, besides our freedoms guaranteed by the constitution, is our rule of law. We cannot allow our laws to be trampled and mocked if we want to keep those freedoms.

Yes and that’s not untrue.... but again I’m not even sure Obama is a US citizen based on his sealed college records. So investigating his “priorities” while he was president won’t make a ripple of impact....

Killing ObamaCare, Dodd-Frank, and revamping the tax code will make an impact.

Hell no one cared about Solyndra... really !!!

I recall reading about one of the goofiest things our lawmakers ever did and I recognize at least two of the names on this list as taking part in the March, 2004 ceremony in the Dirkson Senate building where Danny Davis “crowned” the Rev. Moon of the “moonies” Unification church. Rep. Elijah Cummings and several other lawmakers were involved.

Put Obama on the same pile as Carter and call it done... move on and try to forget.

Hell no!

The press needs to pay for their perfidy in "selling" this guy to the American People!

“The press needs to pay for their perfidy in “selling” this guy to the American People!”

Yeah - let’s go and talk bad about the dems for about 6 months so the MSM will pay for their complicit reporting on the Obama administration.... Who is going to report on the MSM wrong doing ? oh yeah they will report on themselves !!!!!!!!

And in the meantime no jobs will be created and the economy will go into a recession again.... but but but but.....

Seriously I want whatever you are drinking...

Who is going to report on the MSM wrong doing ?

Ever hear of an Internet network called "The Blaze?"

It's a new paradigm in news dissemination limited only by its sponsorship and viewer participation.

You NEED what I'm drinking, but you can only get it for yourself.
