Big Guy’s holed up at a five-star waterfront resort in Virginia to cram for his “debate” with Candy Crowley on Tuesday.
Obama aides said the president was clear-eyed about the need to have a better showing in his second debate with Romney. After a listless first performance, Obama was focused on delivering more pointed and aggressive responses.
Other players include Anita “Mao is my Lord and Savior” Dunn.

So that sounds about right. Unfortunately John Kerry is still reporting for duty despite being responsible for BO’s “listless” (as the SRM likes to call it) performance in the first debate.

Advantage Romney. Romney is affable and this is a town hall format. Romney doesn’t have a terrible presidential record to defend. Momentum is with Romney. Obama will have to answer for his lies on Libya! Obama will have NOTHING to say about the last four years that will carry any weight.

Taking a page out of Clueless Joe’s book? That should work well. Obama got away with a lot in 2008 because he was more or less a blank slate. He has a record now, so he can’t do much without leaving himself wide open.
When Obama inevitably says something like "well I realize I need to be president of all the people, including the 47% you write off" Romney ought to respond thusly: "You're right, Mr President. Whoever wins this will be president of all the people. That means the coal miners whose industry you said you wanted to bankrupt, the people struggling in the rust belt who you say cling to guns and religion because they're bitter, oil workers in the gulf without jobs because you refuse to allow licenses to be issued even though a judge ordered it, and catholic bishops and organizations that are suing you because you would force them to violate their conscience. Those people need a President too, and it's time they got one again."

There was a lot which this POS did that made absolutely no sense until I saw the movie and understood what drives him.
Now it makes perfect sense. He wants to weaken this country in any way possible. Financially as well as morally, militarily and any other way possible.
Moderator Candy Crowley will do everything short of physically muzzling Romney to give Obama the advantage. I would bet that Obama was even given the questions in advance by his shills at CNN. If Romney remains unflappable and keeps hammering Obama he will still prevail. Obama will get mad and say or do something stupid. Without his teleprompter Obama often gets into his stuttering I-I-I and of course will just have the old BS about Romney at Bain, the $5 billion tax cut for millionaires etc. that has been theme for their campaign. If Obama hits Romney about not releasing his tax records I hope Romney shoots back about Obama hiding his college transcripts.

I hope he makes the mistake of doubling down because this second debate may just be his Carter moment and a third debate will be irrelevant.
On the other hand, if he realizes what made Romney the clear winner in the first debate, he will TRY to emulate his style and presidential bearing and the far left goes ballistic.
We’ll see which obama shows up.

I agree. While I think this whole, advanced pronouncement of Obama's intentions are a red herring to begin with, here's what I think Mitt should do if it happens.
Mitt should treat him like the school kid with his hand caught in the cookie jar. Just as Paul Ryan did, Mitt should say in the tone of explaining rules to an 8 year-old, "Look Mr. President, I know you're under some duress to make up ground, but mis-stating the facts more aggressively doesn't make them more true..."
Why couldn't Zer0 be at Zer0's house in Chicago? Camp David? White Hut?
1. That his push for greater dependence upon Government, undermines the very principle of "Individual Responsibility," on which we depended, when we became the most successful people on earth.
2. That his efforts to centralize decision making in Washington, completely ignores the Constitutional division of powers, that left Social questions to the States, where the governments were closest to the people being effected by those decisions.
And so on. I believe that this approach would leave Obama sputtering, if properly applied--looking completely outclassed.

This isn’t a Town Hall debate.
The first Presidential Town Hall debate was held in 1992 and they simply walked through the audience and selected people to ask questions. They simply tried to mix up the demographics, ie: diversity. It was judged a rousing success.
Fast forward 20 years and it’s for Candy Crowley and CNN to cull the questions. So some dolt can then parrot their preselected question. Oh yah, then Candy Crowley reserves the right to reframe the question and formulate prefabricated follow up questions to the preselected questions.
Where is the big talk from the direct democracy crowd? => Nowhere, they are drooling for CNN’s crap sandwich.
