Geraldo Rivera claims video to blame for Libya attack after all.
The Virginian ^ | 10/19/2012 | Moneyrunner

On Fox and Friends this morning, Geraldo Rivera claimed that it was definitely the video that was the cause of the terrorist attack on the consulate in Benghazi. Not Team Obama spiking the football over killing bin Laden, not the drone attacks, just the video.

I suspect that this is going to be the new spin coming from the Obama administration. The video was so inflammatory that - while it did not inspire a demonstration outside the consulate in Benghazi, it so enraged the Islamists that they staged a terrorist attack on our consulate and killed our ambassador and three others.

That's the new story and they're going to stick to it.

I was thinking of him describing his location and identifying the unit he was attached to.

Why are we all so ready to believe that the 20-odd OTHER “protests” revolved around this ridiculous, barely watched video? Where did the original rationale for rioting come from?

I noticed that Shemp and Jerry Rivers have been trying to push this idea before the debate.

Nobody believes them but libtards.

Donchaknow he’s pro-military nowadays? He hasn’t demonstrated even once, since 1973, for prosecuting U. S. troops for war crimes.

I listened to him, it was painful to watch. He gave a tormented, twisted, convoluted version of what he thought must have happened, just to defend Obama. Another enabler, giving unchecked power to the president.

What Whorealdo was referring to is an article in today’s New York Times...one of their reporters tracked down the leader of the group believed responsible for the Benghazi attack and he claimed the attack was motivated by the video (yeah, right). And for good measure, the terrorist also said that he was merely trying to break up a traffic jam outside the compound, in explaining his presence at the scene.

It will be interesting to see if Team Obama tries to latch onto this “explanation” as supporting their version of events. Of course, the terror leader has plenty of reason to lie about the motivation behind the attack and why he was present at the compound. Needless to say, Mitt Romney can punch massive holes in this account and he ought to pose another question for the Anointed One: if a NYT reporter can locate one of the most wanted men in the world, why hasn’t our intelligence community? Or is it a case of knowing where he’s at, and just waiting for the right political moment to strike.

The Obama Team need that narrative. It showed up again earlier this week — that the video was still being investigated and they were still trying to tie it to the attacks.

Tell the big lie often enough and people start believing it.

So what if the CIA dripped out word that they knew the attacks were ‘terrorist attacks’ within 24 hours.

THE NARRATIVE IS THE VIDEO, DAMMIT!!!!!! Believe it or shut up!!!!!

I predict he WILL wind up at MSNBC (maybe soon), but CERTAINLY will be gone from FOX after the election.

I think he found a not signed "Obama's Mother" in Al Capone's Vault, that said it was a "retaliation for the blasphemous video".

Yes, Geraldo, if Americans weren’t so racist, they wouldn’t have sodomized our Ambassador. It’s always the fault of somebody “insulting” some group.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. He drew it in the sand. Next thing we know - he’s back home without a job. Of course, Fox picked him up like they did that worthless Juan Williams.
