Did Obama & Crowley Know Questioner/Question Beforehand?

This isn't my blog - I just came across it via Twitter. I have been reluctant to think that Crowley and Obama were working off a script....until now.

There is a lot on this blog that, in my opinion, doesn't point to any pre-knowledge. However, the second point that is made, and supported by video, is that Obama knew who the questioner was regarding the Benghazi attack BEFORE the questioner identifies himself.

The audience is surrounding the candidates in a 180' arc, but Obama turns and looks right at the questioner, then catches himself.

Reminds me of the scene in "Quiz Show" in which the investigator catches the game show host responding to an answer that WASN'T given and he wasn't expecting.

The main thing that doesn’t work in the narrative is that the actual question the guy asked was a really harsh one for Obama, which Obama didn’t even answer.

The guy actually asked why the requests BEFORE the attack had been denied. Obama answered about what he did AFTER the attack.

So an alternate theory would be that Obama knew there would be at least ONE question on Libya, and no matter what the question was, if it included the word Libya, he was going to try to lay a trap for Romney reagarding the “act of terror” phrase. He might have had one of his staffers prompt a CNN person that it would be good for them to review (and bring) the transcript in case the issue came up.

I just found it astounding that Obama walked directly towards him and called him by name before the guy made a move. Then, after catching himself, Obama kinda looks around and then asks “What’s your name?” after he’s already used his name....

I think all the evidence DOES point to a set up. The sequence of events indicates that Obama WANTED this question and that he WANTED Romney to make his accusations. At the end he even spikes the football (”could you say that a little louder, Candy?”). Crowley just HAPPENED to have the transcript. (”I did, I did use the word ‘terror’”). It was a crude and juvenile attempt to deflect criticism from the Benghazi cover up, nevertheless. And Crowley has just squandered whatever tenuous grip she had as a credible journalist for the remainder of her career.

Obama says (impression), “Check the transcript,” and Candy Crowley had it! Did you notice that in this video? Romney goes out there and says, “You didn’t call a terrorist attack. It’s on the record. You want to say you called it a terrorist attack?” Obama points at Candy, “Check the transcript,” and she lo and behold, she had it! Shazam! The president said to the moderator (impression), “Check the transcript,” and she had it (laughs) and she read from it! And it was a lie. It was wrong, and so she walked it back last night.

I THINK THIS IS THE MOST CRITICAL ASPECT OF THIS EXCHANGE THAT WAS OVER LOOKED:

HOW DID OBAMA KNOW THAT CANDY CROWLEY HAD A COPY OF THE TRANSCRIPT OF WHAT HE SAID ABOUT LIBYA AFTER THE SEPT 11 ATTACK?

WAS HE GIVEN A HEADS UP BY CNN OR CANDY ON THE QUESTIONS THAT WOULD BE ASKED DURING THIS TOWNHALL MEETING IN ORDER TO PREPARE FOR THIS DEBATE ????

1. Selected quiestions
2. Interruption after Obama cues “Candy”
3. unfair time allocation
4. cut off Romney before making his main points
5. camera angles favoring the ONE. putting him in commanding positions
6. “Candy show him the transcript”
7. cutaway to Mooshell’s clapping against the rules
8. Audience applause at the Benghazi gotcha

Anyone that does not realize that this was a premeditated hit by the Chicago Mob is terminally naive.

If you check the blog, there are 2 videos. The 2nd video shows Candy saying the guy’s name, Obama turns and looks right at the guy BEFORE he stands to read his question and says “Hi Kerry”. THEN the guy stands up and Obama has this look on his face like OOOPS and he says, “What’s your name?”

Had the debate prep taken place inside the WH, we might have had access to the sign ins.

Since it was on a private, secluded estate, we don’t know who was there. It might be interesting to try to find out whether Crowley or any of her associates paid a visit to the estate during the debate prep.

If the GOP wins in a landslide, take control of House, Senate and WH, an inquiry should be made of the MSM to determine their rationale on poll samples and how they conduct the debates. If questions were given to Obama, then the public needs to know that and the channel discredited in public. Same goes to MSM poll takers. How can you claim one candidate is ahead by oversampling his party by 12 percent? Then find out what the motive is behind such malpractice. The poll company can either publicly admit incompetence or spill the beans that the client wanted to create news and not fact with skewed polls. All these issues affect public interest and consumer right to accurate info and not manipulation.

I tend to think the Ladka was a set up because he asked about the least damaging part of the Benhazi issue. He asked about the security screw up, and the blame for that is pretty easy to foist on the underlings. If you had an audience member raise the issue of the disparity in the stories about the attack, that would have been much more difficult for Obama to get nasty on if it came from an audience member. Besides I saw Ladka later on Greta and he's a big time socialist regarding Obamacare. Yet he plugs his company like he's a true capitalist. He appears to to be the perfect any man citizen just concerned about this attack thingy. I'm sure it went over well with the rubes.

Wasn’t even a response to the original questioner? Remember the leaks prior to it that he was gong to take responsibility for it at the debate. Lo and behold Candy lobs the softball up there for him. He didn’t do it during the original question, he did it to Candy’s question.

Let’s not miss CNN’s evident complicity. In the ensuing uproar over Crowley’s assist to Obama, CNN officially commended her for doing a great job and reiterated the obvious lie that neither candidate had the questions in advance. If they really cared about keeping neutral and keeping their good reputation, Crowley would have been fired before she left the studio.

I hate it when, because people don’t pay attention, they force me to defend Obama. Crap. Ok, guys, the mod SAID HIS NAME FIRST, then obviously there was a cue person in the audience helping the candidates (live TV duh, they need that) because the SAME TIME Obama looked to his right, before he ever made a move, Romney also looked that direction, so it was obvious someone was directing them from the audience. Also, I thought that Kerry was “Carrie” or “Kari” referring to a female, and it looked kind if obvious to me that Obama thought the same thing. Crowley did say his name just before Obama said “Hi, Kerry”, but Obama had already started walking directly towards him before that, and Kerry hadn’t stood up or identified himself at that point. So, after Obama has already walked up to Kerry, heard his name, and greeted him by name while looking right at him, he then does the fake “look around for Kerry” thing, and says “what’s your name?”

That’s the sequence, and it’s way too fishy for me to write it off as not being a badly played setup.

Yes, I think she displayed some real obvious “guilty” body language when Obama put her on the spot, with the transcript in her hand. She must have realized how bad it looked, with the way that Obama whipped that line out cavalierly and pointed to her as if on cue. I’m sure they had arranged to do it differently, with her piping in on her own with a “fact check”, but Obama got overconfident and blew it.

Unless. Candy had already alerted the White House about the nature of the questions the townhall participants were to ask as she alone would choose whom to call on, and Candy came prepared to defend Obama when she called on Kerry Ladka.

It appears there was some collusion between CNN, Candy and the Obama campaign regarding the questions that she would then ask the townhall participants to give; thus, giving the Obama team a big helpful heads up not only on the question on Libya, but all the other questions as well.

That may be the reason that Obama seem so “well prepared” to respond.

Also, candidates can usually, as Obama did on this one, answer the question they would have preferred to have been asked, rather the one question actually asked of them.

If Crowly had not held up that transcript so quickly, they may have succeeded in their little scheme.

What I found the most offensive in the whole evening, was when O' turned to Mitt and addressed him down, and say it was "OFFINSIVE" to him anyone would think as we do. My heart was bleeding for Mitt to sit there and take that. I too wished someone would punch the lights out of O'.

What a smug Jerk with nothing but pure hatred in his eyes and mouth . To be that pretended defensive was nothing more that pure acting and he is very afraid. Almost a warning to MITT, don't you dare bring this up again, or else. Now that is funny considering next Monday night.
