Tuesday, October 16, 2012 Is Benghazi Obama's Mogadishu?
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Monday attempted to take one for Team Obama. While in Lima Peru, Secretary Clinton stated, "I take responsibility, I'm in charge of the State Department's 60,000-plus people all over the world, 275 posts. The president and the vice president wouldn't be knowledgeable about specific decisions that are made by security professionals. They're the ones who weigh all of the threats and the risks and the needs and make a considered decision."
Is Hillary Clinton the new Les Aspin? In 1994, then Secretary of Defense Les Aspin, was ousted from the Clinton administration in large part because of the failed raid in Mogadishu Somalia (Blackhawk Down) and his decision not to send tanks. According to a Senate Armed Services Committee report on the deaths of 18 U.S. service members, Defense Secretary Les Aspin and his deputies rejected sending needed tanks and armored vehicles to Somalia because they feared a political backlash would undermine their pro-United Nations policy.

Benghazi is the top of the iceberg
It is his entire pro-terrorist/Caliphate/MuslimBros policy that is his Waterloo
but ONLY if the R campaign makes sure the voters KNOW about (and SEE the pictures of) it.
(Plus, how he is destroying the American economy and jobs jobs jobs)
Lets hope not....Mogadishu did NOT prevent Clinton from getting re-elected.
I hope the rape and murder of our ambassador has at least the positive effect of removing the Kenyan from office.
Watch out! BLACKhawk down might be deemed a dog whistle leading to an accusation of being rassiss.
When will the drone video of the terrorist attack be released to Congress?

Retired CIA officer Gary Berntsen believes help could have come much sooner. He commanded CIA counter-terrorism missions targeting Osama bin Laden and led the team that responded after bombings of the U.S. Embassy in East Africa.
You find a way to make this happen, Berntsen says. There isnt a plan for every single engagement. Sometimes you have to be able to make adjustments. They made zero adjustments in this. They stood and they watched and our people died.
The Pentagon says it did move a team of special operators from central Europe to the large Naval Air Station in Sigonella, Italy, but gave no other details. Sigonella is just an hours flight from Libya. Other nearby bases include Aviano and Souda Bay. Military sources tell CBS News that resources at the three bases include fighter jets and Specter AC-130 gunships, which the sources say can be extremely effective in flying in and buzzing a crowd to disperse it.
Add to the controversy the fact that the last two Americans didnt die until more than six hours into the attack, and the question of U.S. military help becomes very important.
6:58AM EDT October 19. 2012 - WASHINGTON (AP) The CIA station chief in Libya reported to Washington within 24 hours of last month’s deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate that there was evidence it was carried out by militants, not a spontaneous mob upset about an American-made video ridiculing Islam’s Prophet Muhammad, U.S. officials have told The Associated Press.

The mother of an American diplomat killed during a terrorist raid on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi has hit out at Barack Obama for describing the attack as ‘not optimal’, saying: ‘My son is not very optimal - he is also very dead.’
During an interview shown on Comedy Central, Obama responded to a question about his administration’s confused communication after the assault by saying: ‘If four Americans get killed, its not optimal.’
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline today, Pat Smith, whose son Sean died in the raid, said: ‘It was a disrespectful thing to say and I don’t think it’s right.
‘How can you say somebody being killed is not very optimal? I don’t think the President has the right idea of the English language.’
Benghazigate: Three Scandals for the Price of Two
Benghazigate is three scandals for the very heavy price of two. The first concerns the fact that the diplomatic staff in Libya called for extra security and didn’t get it.
The second scandal concerns the Administration’s full court press to convince all of us that the blame for the attack falls on the infamous film.
The third scandal, more important and therefore largely neglected, is what Benghazigate says about the President’s Libya policy.

On Monday, Obama must come clean on Benghazi
Shifting explanations and lack of security beg many questions
There are two main issues: the failure by the Obama administration to secure the consulate in Libya in the run-up to the attack, and the conflicting stories and lack of credible information in the weeks that followed.
Raising these questions is not playing politics; it addressing critical national security concerns.
Why wasnt our consulate protected? Before the attack which killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens the consulate in Benghazi was attacked twice once in the spring and once a month before the last attack.

The cover up of the previous attacks and the security requests as well as the run around after September 11 were all done to hide the fact that the Arab spring and the notion that terrorism was defeated was a fallacy and purely for political purpose the cover up ensued.
Mogadishu was the result of ineptitude, followed by cowardice. Benghazi is like Mogadishu, with Watergate’s lies and coverups thrown in. This whole mob should be investigated, then prosecuted.
