I just returned from a townhall with John McCain, Jon Kyl, and Jeff Flake. They spoke in Yuma, Arizona to a full house.
Of particular importance to me was that John McCain said that he will continue to push for full disclosure of what happened at the Benghazi debacle. He seemed as informed about the scandal as most freepers, and he was eager to bring it up on his next appearance on Face the Nation, which is on tomorrow, I believe. He brought up the subject voluntarily, so I think does want it in the spotlight.
I was able to ask Jeff Flake, who may well be the next Republican Senator from Arizona, if he would hold those who authorized and covered up the Fast and Furious scandal accountable. He explained that the house had held Eric Holder in contempt, and promised that if elected to the senate, he would make sure that those responsible for the scandal and coverup would be held accountable.
These responses and questions were taped.
The crowd was very positive about Jeff Flake. I think he has a good chance.
“”Of particular importance to me was that John McCain said that he will continue to push for full disclosure of what happened at the Benghazi debacle.”””
Yeah, sure thing McLame. When Romney wins you will blame the whole Libya thing on him.
Before we can pursue any scandals, we’ve got to get some Americans back into the American government.
McCain is a bad too often repeated joke.
And maybe we should get some of our soldiers back on American soil where they’re safe from our “allies”.
McCain was FOR helping the terrorists, so expect
a typical RINO coverup for Obama.
McLettuce is a vulgar Christian hating punk
Flake looks to be leading, but the good news is pursuing Benghazi. It can be traded for a SCJ or pursued to destroy Dem chances in 2014.
In addition, this may get him some face time on TV. I think he may sense blood in the water and wants to be on the right side as well. The fact is that John McCain is a senator and will be for at least four more years. We need to approve of him when he does the right thing, and let him know that we are displeased when he does not.
I thought Jeff Flake was smart until he said he is certain Obozo was born in HI.
Maybe he shouldn’t have been in such an all fired hurry to get involved in the Libyan mess in the first place. At this point he’s just another armchair general who sits safely here in America while others die.
I would not piss in his ear if his brain was on fire
Pursue scandals??
Like Hanoi Hilton?
Gunwalker / Murdergate ping.
I admire your enthusiasm but McCain and Kyle are both dead to me. They’ve both played the polite DC game for too long and don’t care a wit about what’s right anymore.
Some day people are going to need to wake up and admit that congressional hearings and investigations are for show. All they do is find scapegoats and dirt to use against each other.
Is this the same John McPain who said we had nothing to fear from Barak Obama?
McCain is nothing but a back-stabbing A-hole.
McCain was the co-sponsor of a bill that took away other Americans Free Speech (remember McCain-Feingold?), I no longer feel the obligation to praise this jerks military service. Marktwain, if you want to, you go right ahead; I'm free from that burden.
well actually..I learned from a US Marshall that more bride money changes hands than the movie CASINO
Did Flake say that before - or after - HI registrar Alvin Onaka refused to confirm any birth facts for Obama because the record HI has for him is legally non-valid?
