Why would it be a surprise to anyone that beneficiaries of racial preferences support it? It is worth hundreds of thousands to tens of millions of dollars in lifetime benefits to them based on educational opportunities and promotions they would not otherwise have gotten. This is why a majority of racial preference beneficiaries support the the Democratic party, and by extension, Obama - it provides large and continuing monetary benefits.
Perhaps equally noteworthy would be freeper class of ‘98. It means you were freeping before freeping was cool.

As someone pointed out in another thread, there are warrior Generals and there are politicians who advance in the military due to their political stances or political status. Clearly....Powell laid his cards right out as one of the latter.

Someone posted on a thread the day that Powell endorsed Obama again, that they couldn’t believe that he had changed so much from being a hero to a racist voting for a pig for Pres. again.
People don’t stop to think that Powell was never a “hero”. In uniform, you are structured in your appearance, speech and duty. In civilian life you can be yourself, your REAL self. Since becoming a civilian again, he has been very disappointing.
