Like Katrina, Hurricane Sandy Asks "Where Is FEMA?"

In New York City, lines can be miles long waiting for gasoline. Fights, muggings, and store lootings have risen dramatically as the racehorse complexed inhabitants in The City So Nice They Named It Twice are already rumbling. The  muted response of  Obama's Federal Emergency Management Agency is yet another problem plaguing those citizens, because of a seeming slowness to manage the many post hurricane problems, like power outages, flooded homes, water born diseases, raw sewage, industrial chemicals and only God-knows-what else. In the meantime, little Napoleon, NY Mayor Bloomberg, is diverting rehab resources toward setting up the New York Marathon. New Yorkers normally are in a constant state of anger, but now its evolved into a Mad Max madness.

Here is a sampling of just a few of the problems New Yorkers are encountering according to the Drudge Report:

Gas Shortages May Not End for Another Week...
Mile-long lines, price hits $6...
Fistfights, Guns Drawn...
'I'm pretty p*ssed'...
Two massive generators power NY media, not masses...
NYC Official: Red Cross 'Absolute Disgrace'...
Looters Dress Like Con Edison Workers to Gain Access to Houses...

Staten Islanders Plead for Help: 'We Need Food'...
'Please don't leave us'...

Plenty of volunteers from the rest of the continental United States have been pouring into New York and New Jersey to offer aid, but they better arrive with their union cards or they will be turned back, as a non-union construction team from Alabama was. They were not allowed in  to aid  New Jersey (a No Right To Work State) for not having union creds. Alabama is a Right To Work State.

It seems like just a few years ago (2005),  President W Bush was receiving big time media battering for similarly not responding to Hurricane Katrina, although the mass of New Orleaners were warned to get out of town. Nevertheless, the lib media was unmerciful in their assault on W.Bush and his FEMA.

Back then, the media could not let go of hammering W Bush for "getting us into Iraq," although a majority of Democrats voted to take down Saddam Hussein. Now, we finally have the majority of the media checking into the Benghazi debacle, which in no way makes  President Obama look more Presidential.

Its a cliche, but What Goes Around does Come Around.

Let’s see if karaoke performer Kanye West says this happened because Obama hates black people and if George Clooney holds a telethon and if Obama gives a speech in a black accent saying whitey don’t care about you.

Hello you have reached the office of FEMA, today is sunny and bright — We have obama. There is no emergency, there is no need for any emergency response, you have nothing to report.

In the event that you still feel that there may be an emergency — Warm yourself with the thought; “its Bush’s fault.”

Thank you, and continue to have a nice day.

Looks like it’s all-clear in NJ: Atlantic City casinos opening.

http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2012/11/atlantic_city_casinos_given_gr.html

“A press conference is scheduled for mid-afternoon today, when officials will announce more. Gilbert said the city is ready, though. A boil water advisory has been lifted and key infrastructure issues resolved.

“We’re in good shape,” he said.’”

Just what I was thinking, This most DEFINITELY is the fault of George W. Bush because he doesn´t like the black people in New York. George W, will have to be held accountable for Sandy, as the black people by and large are being affected and the white person we have in the WHITE HOUSE just doesn´t care.

Real bad, but there’s no Republican in sight to blame. Obviously the media and other marxists will never blame their marxist in chief.

Bush had nothing to do with the disaster called Katrina, but he was tarred with it.

The current occupant of the oval office should get the blame for this just as Bush got a blame that he didn’t deserve.

Well at least Obama has a place to go if Al Qaeda kills another ambassador.

Will Mayor Bloomberg let the citizens of New York eat burgers, fries, or soda during this emergency if they are actually starving? Are the salt police still making their rounds?

BloomT-rd has done Mitt a favor.

Bloomie endorses BHO and ignores the people of NYC and
diverts resources from dying, starving NewYorkers to a marathon.

LEFTIST lEADERSHIP

When minutes count, government help is only months away. So, New York, how is that nanny state Liberal mentality working out for you?

All we hear or see are ads for donations to the Red Cross. I’m pretty sure organizations like Salvation Army, Catholic Relief Services, and Operation Blessing are helping, but there are NO mentions of them anywhere. Red Cross, like the electrical workers’ union got a lock on this one, too?

Telling the people to vote for Obama seems to be his current decree. People are dead, homeless, starving, freezing, sitting in sewage, but voting for Obama should their #1 priority.

I like when we had a huge snow storm here a couple years ago and the sanitation workers pretty much went on strike leaving the city completely snow bound. What was Michaels solution? “Everybody go to the theater! Yoo hoo!”

their may be similarities to the conditions created by Katrina and Sandy, and actual similarities in “FEMA’s response” in both situations, but the key and obvious difference today is that with a GOP in the White House a disaster was the presidents fault, and with a Leftist in the White House the issues of coordination of emergency resources are understood and everyone in government is praised
