Tell me again how this race is “tied”. It’s “tied” because the commie “media” are trying to get the freeloaders to the polls.
535 votes? They must be talking about the popular vote.
537 votes was the official margin of Bush’s victory in Florida in 2000 (after Democrat officials managed to throw out a lot of military votes or count as Gore votes ballots which had not been marked for any candidate—the whole “dimpled chad” circus).
If that number is supposed to refer to Bush/Cheney margin of victory in Florida in the election of 2000, it's misleading.
The 535 figure was a phony number ... the result of whittling down Bush's lead by counting "chads," "dimples," and "dimpled chads" as Gore votes in the selective recount.
We should also not forget the 11,000 - 15,000 missing votes for Bush in the Florida panhandle. Even Dem pollster Bob Beckel admitted that GWB would've received at least 11K more votes in FL, had the TV networks not called the election for Gore prematurely.
The election in FL would still have been close, even if those Bush voters actually registered their votes. But not by such an absurdly small margin as 535.
