Her personal opinion needs to remain her personal opinion. She doesnt need to push it on the kids, Oh, come on. The Dems push their crap on the kids every chance they get. Plus, this teacher is probably right.

How many threads have you seen here of stupid teachers being castigated for being on the other side? That teacher, whether right about this issue or not, was none too bright to say that to a class of 4th graders.

Just like Germany with kids turning in teachers. Watch out Dems, you might say something they don’t like then you’ll be next.

I happen to agree with her, but it was definitely dumb to say that to her class of 4th graders, just like it would be dumb to say the opposite.

We are talking about 4th graders here. Politics has no place here, right or left. It is as wrong for a conservative opinion as it is for a liberal opinion for exactly the same reason. I hope that she lives to teach another day but she should be corrected for this lapse.

I’m not sure I follow. I have no problem with a teacher expressing their view point. I do have a problem with teachers indoctrinating children into socialism. As far as I know it has never happened the other way but if it does start, I would be willing to discuss it after 130 years or so.

It is a true statement...America is dead and the world is headed for a very very dark period...exceeding anything we have ever seen or heard of.

Wonder how many times YAHOO has posted when teachers make leftist remarks to the class. The teacher may have over-stepped her bounds, but why is this news only when it doesn’t lean left???
