He was starting a life sentence in jail today, ordered to serve a minimum 22 year prison term at Manchester Crown Court after pleading guilty to murder.

So he was unemployed and homeless. Now he gets a prison cell, meals, British deference to Islam in prison and an opportunity to perfect his death cult technique before being released back into the general population. He got promoted.

In the days of Merry Olde England this piece of trash would have stretched a rope on a gibbet.
The media actually could be an effective tool to stop this horrific crap. They need to publicly vilify the “honor killers” in the most insulting way possible; while at the same time elevating their victims to be good and noble.
Since it is primarily Muslim in origin, they could line up some reliable Muslim “leaders” to roundly condemn the killers, decrying them as “bad Muslims”, who had “failed Islam”, etc. Really pound it into the ground.
And since such “leaders” are few and far between, fabricate some. Either make some low-level but ambitious nobody seem to be a “prominent scholar”, or create some out of whole cloth. It’s far more important to have the right “look and feel” to Muslims rather than any actual credibility.
Ideally, after a public relations blitz, other Muslims would be more than happy to lynch the “honor killers”, embrace their victims as “righteous”, and most of all, to get the word out that “honor killing” is un-Islamic and shameful.
