A friend of mine had one of the unethical shots, but she did not know it was unethical. We can’t blame ourselves, if we don’t know.

If you noticed on the chart, there is an ethical flu shot, and that’s probably because pro-lifers made their voices heard. We need to continue to do that.

P.S. If I ever need one of these shots, I will be sure to call my doctor’s office and make sure it’s one of the ethical vaccines.

Some observing levity on the ethical sources: chickens, hamsters, monkeys, e-coli, insects, yeast, and not forget bugs bunny.

GFY, Merck.

Many parents say their child got autism RIGHT AFTER getting vaccines. It might not be from the human aborted cell lines, but it could be, because in Japan, they only use ethical vaccines, such as from chickens, and they get very few children with autism. Japan also gives the children vaccines at a bit older age, and doesn’t combine as many immunizations for diseases (at least according to what I read a few years ago).

For the sake of our children, we should call Merck, and other manufacturers, and tell them to start making ethical vaccines. After the holidays, it would be a good project to get others to do the same, such as emailing friends, etc..

The phone #’s for Merck, and other manufacturers, are at the bottom of the link page in OP:

http://www.cogforlife.org/vaccineListOrigFormat.pdf

In the meantime, as we need vaccines, we can also check the above link to make sure our doctors give the ethical immunizations.

If you noticed on the chart, there is an ethical flu shot, and that’s probably because pro-lifers made their voices heard. We need to continue to do that.

Flu vaccines are grown in chicken embryos, so they are all ethical if killing chickens does not bother you. Personally, I'm rather disturbed by killing chicken embryos, but not enough that I would recommend skipping the flu vaccine.

Symptoms of autism are present at 6 months, but children are typically not diagnosed until age 18 months or later. Given the vaccine schedule for young children, it would be pretty incredible for an autism diagnosis to NOT occur around the time of a vaccination.

The rate of autism diagnosis went up when the diagnostic criteria were changed, leading to more diagnoses, but has been fairly steady ever since. The original study claiming a vaccine/autism link was incredibly bad science to begin with--it should not have been published in the first place. It has since been retracted and the lead author stripped of his medical license. As it turned out, the lead author had a financial interest in finding a link between vaccines and autism--he was working with a lawyer who sues on behalf of parents with medically injured children.

The bottom line is that there is no reason to risk your children's lives and health by refusing to give them vaccines. If they weren't born autistic, they won't become autistic.

I can’t open the file at the link, it tells me that there is a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

I can open other pdf files just fine, though.

How do you explain that there are very few cases of autism in Japan. They use chicken cell lines, not human embryonic cells. Maybe we are not meant to be cannibals.

Also, check out the link in Post #10, a story from a real person (parent). His child became sick RIGHT AFTER the vaccine, plus never spoke again. Many parents have reported that their child had autism RIGHT AFTER the vaccine.

When possible, get an ethical vaccine, and try this link again to find ethical vaccines (when available):

http://www.cogforlife.org/vaccineListOrigFormat.pdf

The link worked for me, even though I have dial up.

I found a reference to a study that showed a rate of 181 cases per 1000 children in Japan, which is actually higher than in the US. As the article discusses, getting autism diagnoses is problematic for a number of reasons, which range from cultural considerations to differences in definitions. Until an objective set of criteria exists for autism diagnosis, it will be incredibly difficult to accurately know the rate anywhere.

Even with an objective method of diagnosis, the rates may still turn out different, because of genetic differences between groups of humans. For instance, it has long been known that black people are more likely than others to get sickle cell anemia, which is caused by a genetic mutation.

Also, check out the link in Post #10, a story from a real person (parent). His child became sick RIGHT AFTER the vaccine, plus never spoke again. Many parents have reported that their child had autism RIGHT AFTER the vaccine.

That still does not prove that vaccines are in any way connected to autism. Given the vaccine schedule--shots every three months--it would be highly unusual if an autism diagnosis occurred at a time when a child has NOT had a recent vaccination. Also, parents are likely to be watching their child fairly closely right after a vaccination, because of the low probability of a known vaccine reaction. Given the extra level of observation within the first few days following a vaccination, it is more likely that a parent will notice the symptoms of autism at that time. That means that the vaccine caused the parent to notice the autism, not that the vaccine caused the autism--a very important distinction.

A lot of time and money was wasted trying to repeat or verify Wakefield's horribly flawed "study." That money could have been better spent trying to track down the exact genetic factors that actually do cause autism. These factors are, in fact, being identified--no thanks to Wakefield, who led people on a wild goose chase.

All this said, I see nothing wrong with making an effort to get vaccines grown in cell lines that are not from murdered babies.

The chart shows up fine today; someone must have fixed it. It is incorrect about flu vaccines; they are only produced in "embryonated" chicken eggs--meaning that a chicken embryo does die for each dose. The new vaccine will be produced in dog kidney cells, but it's not being sold yet.

The BOTTOM LINE is that we should not use murdered innocent babies as “medicine.”

As for Japan, I read a number of years ago that they have a low number of children who have autism, but I don’t have the link of everything I read. But three things they did in Japan was 1) use chicken cell lines; 2) administer vaccines at an older age; 3) Not combine so many vaccines.

In 2012, I don’t know if they still use that protocol.

Now in the U.S.:

the newest data — from 2008 — suggests 1 in 88 children have autism.”

Disease Control and American Academy of Pediatrics

Science hasn’t given us definite proof, regardless of what position you take, but how about looking at STATISTICS?

“Chickenpox Vaccine Use is Highly Statistically Related to Autism Disorder

The only childhood universal factor that is associated with all three changepoints is the introduction of vaccines contaminated with aborted fetal DNA and retroviral fragments. In 1979 the first aborted fetal vaccine was introduced to the US (MMRII), in 1989 a second dose of this vaccine was added and compliance doubled, and in 1995 another aborted fetal vaccine was introduced to the US (Varicella – chickenpox).”

Who in the world decided that we should use human aborted fetal cell lines in vaccines? Is the antilife movement trying to desensitize us about human life, so is that why they are using aborted babies?

Whether you are interested in getting a vaccine for yourself, or your child, do your RESEARCH. Mercury might also be one of the culprits in some vaccines.

And PLEASE, do the ethical thing, and get an ethical vaccine (when available). Just click the following link to find out which vaccines are ethical:

http://www.cogforlife.org/vaccineListOrigFormat.pdf

Find a doctor who will administer ETHICAL vaccines.

I’m sorry, but linking to questionable advocacy sites as evidence does not impress me. There are many good medical websites out there. One way to tell if a website is providing medical research-based information is by the references and how they are used. References should be indexed in PubMed (www.pubmed.org). There should be a lot of references; in scientific writing, it is necessary to support every statement with at least one reference. A questionable website *might* use an actual research reference, but its only purpose is to make the website claims appear to be supported by research, while the actual text in the website goes off on wild tangents that have nothing to do with the actual reference cited.

You did not provide any reference for your claim that the incidence of autism is lower in Japan than the US; I provided some evidence that the opposite is true, and also discussed several factors that impact how the diagnosed rates differ between countries. They even differ between states. I’m not going to repeat that; I will just say that real scientists try to discuss all of the possibilities, and use a lot of the “would, could, possibly” type of language.

FYI, the chickenpox vaccine was licensed in Japan 7 years before it was approved in the US.

Bottom line: if you’re going to try to present evidence that some “event” (other than a change in diagnostic definition) caused a real increase in autism, you need to show actual medical research evidence. That may be difficult, because scientists don’t say that autism is caused by exterior events. It is genetic.
