Purged conservative reps: Boehner planning to ‘run over’ conservatives, vote for tax hike
The Daily Caller ^ | 12/4/2012

Conservative Republican Reps. Tim Huelskamp of Kansas and Justin Amash of Michigan hit back at Republican leadership on Tuesday, following their Monday removal from prominent committees, calling the move “petty” and “vindictive,” and accusing Speaker of the House John Boehner and his deputies of silencing independent conservative voices in preparation to steamroll a tax hike through Congress.

Huelskamp — who was removed from the Agriculture and Budget Committees — released a video on Friday declaring his intention to not vote for any tax increases and received notice of his removal on Monday, “one business day” later.

“I think there’s going to be an attempt to pass a tax increase through the House, in exchange for what?” he told a group of reporters at the Heritage Foundation Tuesday afternoon. “This president doesn’t want to do entitlement reform, doesn’t want to cut spending… I think it makes very clear to conservatives that you’re about to get run over.”

"To the headline: who didn’t know this would happen?"

No kidding!

Having a losing liberal at the top of the presidential ticket, just love how we're able to hold RINO Boehner's feet to the fire. /s

One of the systemic problems with Congress (both chambers) is that the outgoing Congress gets to vote for the leadership of the new incoming Congress. The new people that we vote in don't get to participate in the vote for their own leadership.

Usually, we say that future Congresses are not bound by the votes of prior Congresses, apparently except for the votes on future leadership positions. For some reason, the parties hold their leadership votes during the lame duck session, and not after the new Congress convenes.

I have no idea.

Is it Cajun? French? Vietnamese?

and WHY does it need to be inverted? and who has that job??

“Yes, I want to you turn these rectums inside out before we freeze them”

I wonder if the rectum inverter position has high turnover... ?

If that happens, maybe it will be the end of the prog/republican party and it will take Boener out with them.

Has he been reading the Constitution out loud any more or was that just a stunt to show how patriotic he is? Does he still cry all the time? Is that from too much tanning booth or some other weakness?

That's giving anyone in Congress a benefit of the doubt, and maybe a promotion.

If that is standard pork casings for large sausages, I can find a productive use for it... congress-critters? not so much.

I wondered when I read it, if there was more to the story. Seems it’s just a bit too much red meat. Thanks for pointing out what I should have known.

Count me in. This is now war. The Tea Party has come a long way.
However, they need, like another poster said here some opposition
research departments against these Rinos.
If we can’t vote these Rino’s out, scandal them out.

Clearly, the pork rectum inverter needs to be a position that is part of the local Rhino party committee....

How you gonna clean 'em if they are outside out?

It's a sausage making thing.

I've done the sausage thing from squealing, dying pig to sizzling in a pan, and to be honest? I want them clean.

I'll invert them.

Politicians should be so useful. And half as clean.

I would guess the “inverted” part is very important... probably adds value to the product. :p

Discretion IS the better part of valor.

I understand. Retire from the field uninverted with your honor intact.

You do show more discretion than the common Congress-critter. They make laws about that kind of stuff all the time. In contravention of Art 1, Sec 8 of the Constitution.

Look at the federal stamps on those boxes in that picture.

It's time to rise up and overthrow the leadership of an existing party.

There are several practical ways that may be done.

“It is time for conservatives in the House and in the countryside to FORM A NEW PARTY.”

Actually, I think it’s time for conservatives to recognize that the Divorce is coming and to be prepared for it. When that happens and how it salts out is drastically more important than fighting over the rotting corpse of the gop.
