The illegal re-writing of ObamaCare will never end

Chief Justice John Roberts rewrote the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in order to rescue it from the Constitution. The IRS rewrote the law in order to rescue it from financial oblivion. And the leftist scribes who authored ObamaCare claim none of this illegal, post-legislative tampering really matters. For they contend that what they wrote in the law is not as important as what they really meant!

John Roberts stunned and angered “fellow” conservative justices on the Supreme Court when he deliberately ignored the actual language of the Affordable Care Act in ruling the law Constitutional. For although the law’s authors were careful to avoid any use of the word TAX, Robert’s ruled the individual mandate to be just that, allowing him to find the mandate Constitutional under the congressional power to tax. It was this dishonest interpretation of Congress’ “intent” which has permitted ObamaCare to continue on.

On May 23rd, the IRS finalized a rule making tax credits...

When a 2200 page bill is full of statements such as:

“The HHS Seretary shall write rules to implement...______”

We could end up with new IRS mandates and no Constitution!

What did anyone expect from a bill you had to pass to find out what is in it?

The (pick an agency or just three letters at random) shall promulgate regulations to (fill in with cause du jour) and shall receive sufficient funds in order to (fill in with the dastardly deed desired) and otherwise act as the director deems necessary.

Blank check, carte blanche, baby, and all with OPM!

I have no respect for the Supreme Court any more.

I cannot imagine any company that could function if they had as weak-minded a set of folks at the head as we have in the court. (Justice Thomas and his compatriots excluded, of course.)

I’m afraid the legal system has beclowned itself.

To its own peril.

To misquote an old dictator: “How many troops does the supreme court have?”

Of course!

That's why it was pushed into ‘law’ with all the smoke and mirrors...and why it was DELIBERATEY ambiguous.

It wouldn't have been possible to write anything called an ‘affordable health care package’ as abjectly porous and sloppy as this, unless you had a fraudulent and wholly objectionable purpose

Submitting to the Health Care Act is submitting to Tyranny for those very reasons you cite. Would rather die on a street bleeding to death, then to submit to Tyranny.
