As we all know about the tragedy in Connecticut by now the White House is declaring that this isn't the time to talk about gun control. Many liberals beg to differ.
First and foremost we should pray for the victims and their families, but because liberalism is increasingly losing its nerve with each passing year we must also not cede the debate in the name of taking the high ground...unfortunately...
Update (AP): CNN backs up Foxs report that the guns were legally purchased by Lanzas mother, and claims that the rifle was found in the trunk of a car parked at the school. Did he only use the two pistols during his attack, or did he have the rifle out at some point before returning it to the car? And if he didnt have it out, why not? Seems like, if youre of a mind to commit a mass shooting, youd want to use the biggest weapon you have.
Like Greg Pollowitz, Im eager to hear the progressive policy solution to a nutcase stealing his law-abiding mothers legally-bought guns.
Well, of course, there’s only one way to end these things. We have to make the weapons illegal!
Just watch. The same gummint that found 26 or so deaths intolerable will have no problem killing thousands or more of us for refusing to bend. A knee to their sacred cow.
No one blamed 9/11 on the planes.

Oh, just look to Moochelle’s and Barry’s hometown of Chicago, which leads the nation in homicides again but yet has the strictest gun laws.
Oh, and Barry had no problem arming international drug cartels with automatic weapons.
You have a mentally ill family member and you let him have access to guns?
Seems to me its the mother’s fault. God rest her soul but if you have a mentally ill son, you keep the guns under lock and key or you do not have guns in the house. period.
