Boehner as a leader is done. His speakership in reality is over. Even if he retains the title, the actual leadership in the House will move to someone else. It's time we think about who that should be. And it's certainly not Ryan. Tom Price?
I’m convinced boner is a drunk, or at least an alki.
Boehner will endure for some time because no one has the votes to replace him or wants to take up negotiating with Obama.
How ‘bout Pat Toomey???
“Boehner will endure for some time because no one has the votes to replace him or wants to take up negotiating with Obama.”
I don’t think so. What you are watching is the beginning of the end of Tammy Faye. It looks like Paul Ryan is going to back Tom Price for Speaker in the new term. He would be great and I promise you he is not afraid of some Muzzie lovin Commie.
How ‘bout Louis Gomert?
Boehner must have had it drilled into him about “The Right of Ascension”.
Hey, ‘Mr. Boehner’! That died with that nasty little head/neck thing to the last king of France.
It is NOT in the Constotution, that you so much swore an Oath.
Boehner was done the day he was anointed to the post.
Let’s put a real American, a military veteran with BACKBONE!
Lt. Col. USAR (Ret.) Allen West!
We shall see. Periods when a wounded Speaker hangs on hoping for a recovery of fortune tend to be unpredictable. Sometimes they manage to survive, or they at least last longer than expected because opponents have trouble rallying around a potential replacement. And the bargaining is seamy and dispiriting as members name their terms as to committee positions and legislative favors.
