Union Speaker to Governor: 'We'll Be At Your Daughter's Soccer Game!'

LANSING — A speaker at a union protest against right-to-work legislation said if Gov. Rick Snyder signed the bill he would get "no rest" and that protesters would be at his "daughter's soccer game." (Video below).

The Rev. Charles Williams II made the comments Tuesday to loud cheers before a group of thousands of union workers. After his promises to harass Gov. Snyder, he introduced Rep. Richard Hammel, D-Mt. Morris Township, and House Minority Leader Tim Greimel, D-Auburn Hills. Williams is a Detroit-area pastor and left-wing activist.

Gov. Snyder later that day signed a bill into law making Michigan a right-to-work state. One of his daughters is a 16-year-old high school student.

"Just know one thing, Rick Snyder: You sign that bill, you won't get no rest," Williams said. "We'll meet you on Geddes Road. We'll be at your daughter's soccer game. We'll visit you at your church. We'll be at your office.

"Because Michigan workers will not take it laying down — by any means necessary!" he said.

Geddes Road is where the Snyder residence is located.

After Williams' introduction, both representatives gave short speeches with Rep. Greimel ending by leading the crowd in a chant of, "No Justice, No Peace!"

It appears that union protesters would have little luck finding the governor at the soccer field. According to a player profile on AnnArbor.com, his daughter participates only in softball and volleyball.

Bring it. A little less talk and a lot more action. “I don’t believe you!”

While union thugs are total clueless idiots, the implied threats must be taken seriously.

So, I guess he wants the Right to Work people to go to his daughters soccer game, and attend his church...

Typical intimidation behavior from organized crime.

More mob rule and threats from the tolerant left.

And this came before he vetoed the bill that would have allowed a handful of people to carry guns in schools.

If anyone wants to be added to the Michigan Cap Con ping list, let me know.

A good example of why we need high capacity magazines.

"Just know one thing, Rick Snyder: You sign that bill, you won't get no rest," Williams said.

Along with reverend Al . . . each an American Shakespeare.

If a normal person had said that to a leftist, he would be in jail for threatening. However, it was a union thug (excuse the redundancy) who said it, so he will rise rapidly through the ranks.

Unions can’t exist without intimidation and threats of violence, backed up by real violence occasionally just to make the point.

Union members, for all their bluster, are more afraid of their union brothers than they are of the companies they work for. That is by design, of course.

Real dumb. Snyder should’ve fully committed to that gun bill. And after that threat, were I the Guv, I’d say, “You just threatened my daughter, you fat racist f**k. If you or your goons get within 10 miles of my kid, you’ll be sporting more holes in you than the doughnuts you scarf down daily.”

Union thuggery thrived prior to the age of information when society had the collective insight of an ostrich. Well, now I’m thinking hawks and eagles.
