News reports say that Reid and McConnell are going to work through the weekend to try ad reach a deal. House members have been called back to the Capitol, and the House is scheduled to meet Sunday evening. All this is designed to possibly get a bull that Obama can sign Monday morning, in order to avoid going over the fiscal cliff. But there's just one small problem, which nobody's talking about.. the House rule that mandates that no legislation can be passed until three days have passed, to allow for representatives, and the public, to read, understand, and comment on the contents of the bill.
As much as this would suck, there is still a silver lining. The more Boehner pisses off other Repubs, the more likely it is that we’ll be able to get a new Speaker in :)
The need for the 2nd amendment has never been clearer.
And the need to defend it either.
FYI..Roll Call has an article posted at 11 am, to the effect that the Rules Committee is meeting Sunday..to pass the “rule” for any new bill that comes out of an agreement. Thus is NOT voting on a bill that the House has already passed.

This is why the media is enemy #1. They make the Demcrimes possible. We have to boycott the network news advertisers.
That only applies to symbolic votes like honoring people.
It was never meant to apply to crises like this one and the debt limit.
If we go over the cliff then we all die, there will be no USA in 2013. You want to face that?
You didn’t actually believe them did you?
