What’d we do? Send out the wrong flu vaccine?
How many of these people are illegals? Just wondering.
Must have. I had the flu shot a few months ago and still got it. It’s horrible.
“Send out the wrong flu vaccine?”
I wonder...
I got mine late, in December, and unlike previous years I didn’t feel slightly achy as I always seem to do. It almost felt like...nothing.
My wife and I felt feverish and achy for several days after our shot.
Didn't bloomturd invite all illegals to NYC? Guess they took his invitation.
Not to mention all the foreigners moving into NYC that can afford it's too high priced "homes". They do not have the built up immune system that we have.
Escape From NY......in the plans.
The Obamugabe regime has whacked funds for epidemiological studies to the bone ~ no surprise at all we have a wildfire flu epidemic underway killing scores of children ~
The flu vaccine is always a year behind the current flu. Older folks who’ve gone through many flu epidemics and had yearly flu shots are less vulnerable than younger people. They’ve had time to build up an immunity of sorts.
Forgot to get it last month. Been getting it since
2009 even though I’ve never had the flu.
Interesting, we have to get this information from a British publication.
At my age I can’t afford not to get the shot. ;-)
I got a flu shot in 1980 and got sick as could be. I don’t recall if I’ve ever had the flu. Certainly not recently.
But I’m thinking of getting flu shots regularly because I read somewhere that they prevent heart attacks.
Whatever.
Already had it...
Grumble... Grumble...
Got the Shot more than 6 weeks ago
Fortunately Wife didn’t get it (yay!)
Believe that is true, I've had two very bad flues many, many years ago, have never caught any since.
One was so bad, didn't know if I was going to make it, semi-delirious with the only thing in my mind was if I could make it to sunrise, I would live.
Bad, very bad.
Can't even remember the last time I caught a regular cold, must be better than 30 years.
I’m just getting over the flu here. One of the worst ones I think I ever had and I havent had a flu in several years. I’d occasionally get a strep throat sinus infection but even that was years ago. Weird thing is every time I got a flu shot before, I’d get the flu for a few days and that is precisely why I am getting a shot to avoid the 2-3 days of having the flu and feeling like crap and having to take off of work losing $$$$$
that’s why I stopped getting the flu shot. I had a hard time spending $$ to GET SICK... Now that I don’t take the flu shot I never get sick, despite this year being the first time in several years. Had to break down and get Tamiflu as I was getting a chest infection and that was the first time in 10-15 years I even needed to go to a walk in clinic. When did the prices of an office visit go up from $50-$75? The first couple of places said $130.
Hope I never have to go thru that. I take the shots but am scared every time I do it.
