I am. I’m doing everything I can to get people to see the futility of backing the problem and instead, banding together to create a solution. Once enough of us see the light, and as we have seen on FR as of late, many are, then the GOP can either run conservatives or we run our own.

And it’s so easy to do. Because the GOP has totally screwed over their voters. And publicly mocked them.
I thank God daily that people are coming around. We all get there eventually. At least most of us will once the pain and humiliation become great enough.
But it comes down to doing what we know is right or continuing this ridiculous fantasy that the GOP is still what Reagan built it into. It turned back to the left when he left and I’ll go to the grave believing that most of the RNC celebrated his passing.
Why wouldn’t they? They spit all over everything he stood for with their actions. And every year they go farther and farther to the left...the very thing he abhorred.
It comes down to a furball and I’ve got more ammo than my life expectancy in such a situation would allow me time to expend. ;-)
So are we. And some of us are very experienced, and quite good at it.
Me too; I'd hate to have to try to swim a river with all my hardware, much less the ammo.
But I have friends and neighbors, family and former military associates, some of whom might turn up in my area with or without their own equipment. And once equipped, even if not with their first choice of novelties for the task at hand, they can pull guard for me while I catch some sleep and rest for the tasks of the next day. Or night. Or both.
And fyi: that list of pals welcome around my place? You're on it.
Sort of busy lately. I reckon you've got the idea.
