Something Big Already Begun?

Fifty years ago Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream which was a pivotal chapter in the civil rights movement. Betty Friedan wrote the controversial bestselling book, Feminine Mystique, which held revolutionary ideas regarding women’s liberation and equality with men. Democrat Alabama Governor George Wallace gave fiery pro segregation speeches, while peaceful marchers came from across the country to Birmingham demonstrating solidarity with the reforms MLK wanted in prelude to the Equal Rights Act.

In 1964, the majority party in both houses of congress were the democrats. A greater portion of republicans than democrats voted for the Civil Rights Act. George Wallace, Bull Connors, Orval Faubus and all the southern segregationists were democrats. Every Jim Crow law written, passed and enforced were done so by democrats. Only one souther democrat, on a national level (Strom Thurmond) joined the republican party and yet somehow the mainstream noise suggests that it is the republicans who are the racists.

Women carried signs saying “Republicans, stay out of my womb”, as they demanded taxpayer funded abortions and birth control. The inconsistency of that message escaped them. Single women voted 68% for Obama.

Boama stay out of my my pants. Keep your grubby hands off of my money. There were almost 5 million background checks in the last two months which are votes against you.

Wasn’t Yuri Gagarin the first man to orbit the earth?

Some errata:

The Beatles, Elvis Presley, the Supremes, Fats Domino, and the Muppets all got their big break on the Ed Sullivan Show. The Fantastic’s and Oliver Twist were on Broadway. Motown brought soul music to the big time. John Glen was the first man to orbit the earth.

Wasn’t Yuri Gagarin the first man to orbit the earth?

Indeed, he was. And Martin Luther King's organization was the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, not the Southern Conference Leadership Council.

The article is annoying on its face, because it asks the rhetorical question, “Something Big Already Begun?”, but does not answer it. It implies that something new and paradigm changing is happening *now*.

And yes, there *are* such things happening now, and they are not hard to list.

1) The reactionary socialism and reactionary national socialism of the Democrat party are exhausted theologies with tried and failed ideas, yet they are incapable of thinking up any new ideas. And yes, I do not mean philosophies, but theologies. They not only can’t see that theirs is a path of failure and destruction; they don’t want to see the truth.

2) The national government of the United States has become bloated in so many ways that it can no longer function, and so obsessed with worthless and wasteful minutiae that it ignores the few big things that government is supposed to do.

But “Something Big Has Begun”.

Among the individual states, however, those that are dominated by Republicans are moving in the direction of economic recovery, low taxation, and efficiency. Tearing down decades of Democrat bloat, bias, corruption and favoritism.

They are the “big, new thing” in government, introducing ideas that are shocking in their simplicity and efficiency, and rattling the Democrat paradigm down to its core.

And sooner or later, their ideas will force their way into Washington, D.C., and once again change the nation for the better. No matter what the Democrats think, if they think at all.

I think something big is starting now. The little tiny microbes are in the process of putting an end to the “sexual revolution” by mutating into anti-biotic form, and they’re out there now.

No much “just getting a shot” after messing around. More like a death sentence.

The Southern Conference Leadership Council plays 1AA football...

And the Rooskies put the first woman is space long before Sally Ride tagged along with the astronauts on the space shuttle.
