New York State passed legislation outlawing certain firearms in “Emergency Session”
Except ,... there was no Emergency !

So , New York State passed legislation for a .007 % problem statewide .
Except that there is no emergency

The average number of people shot in a mass shooting event when the shooter is stopped by law enforcement: 14.

And just remember that LEO will tell you that for them, going into a mass shooting event alone is considered a suicide mission and the reason they will wait for backup. They don’t know where the shooter is and it better for them to be covered on all sides.
Thus it would be much better for all if a shooting is stopped by a CCW on the scene immediately.
But the gun grabbers want to go the opposite don’t they?
They are verging on insanity – mental health checks?

I refuse to be a victim. If by some chance the government gets my guns and I cannot “acquire” a replacement, I will use a hammer, a rock or even a pointed stick if I have to protect my family.
However, I know people that claim they would hide in the closet waiting for 911 to pickup before raising a hand against an intruder. Frankly, that bewilders me.

Why do people insist on owning fire extinguishers when there are firemen? ...
My guess is that people that own fire extinguishers have a higher degree of self reliance. They can often prevent a small fire from becoming a disastrous fire.
They own them because when split-seconds count, firemen are only minutes away ...
