Hadiya Pendleton's mom stars in Gun Control PSA (Who saw that coming?)

WASHINGTON, DC - Supporters of gun control have released a powerful new public service announcement, featuring the mom of slain Chicago teenager Hadiya Pendleton.

The PSA was produced for Mayors Against Illegal Guns. It calls on Congress to take immediate action to end senseless gun violence in this country--that claims 33 lives a day. A tragedy Hadiya Pendleton's mom is in the throes of dealing with, just 18 days after her daughter's death.

"When my daughter Hadiya performed at the President's Inauguration, it was the happiest days of her life," Cleopatra Pendleton says in the PSA. "A week later she was murdered, gunned down near her school. A piece of my heart is gone."

The release of the PSA is the culmination of a very busy week in Washington DC for Ms. Pendleton, a week of lobbying for stricter gun laws to save lives--like her daughter's.

Police say Hadiya was the innocent victim of mistaken identity in a gang related shooting. Two people have been charged with her murder...

Something is fishy here:

Several media outlets, including The Washington Post, reported that Pendleton, who relatives said was a majorette and volleyball player, had performed in the inaugural parade, with King College Prep’s band. But the band, which marched in the president’s first inaugural, did not perform this time.

Fishy?? Anything that comes from the MSM is fishy. Its always something other than what it “really” is.

“to end senseless gun violence in this country—that claims 33 lives a day.”......................Riiiight! How many die of drugs and related crimes due to the drug trafficking? Liberal 101 back in action.

I knew I'd heard that she did not perform for the Inauguration (round two)...heard that somewhere, one time, a week or so ago, and now every time I hear this "performed for the Inauguration" story repeated, I just want to scream!!

So, did I hear it wrong the one time? otherwise, what gives with this?!?
