The sequester has all the earmarks of another manufactured crisis. The cuts proposed are miniscule and do nothing to actually deal with our out of control Federal spending problem. That is the core issue that needs to be dealt with, or we are looking at a worldwide econonic meltdown. Quibbling over the miniscule cuts and Obama cherry picking the worst possible areas to cut to make political points is disgusting. Releasing an unknown number of illegal criminals is the first in a long line of "I'll make you pay" behaviors that are deplorable and evil at it's core.
But what do you expect from the disciple of Alinsky? He has been planning this all his life. As Bob Woodward states, "the automatic spending cuts were initiated by the White House and were the brainchild of Lew and White House congressional relations chief Rob Nabors - probably the foremost experts on budget issues in the senior ranks of the federal government. Obama personally approved of the plan for Lew and Nabors to propose the sequester to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.). They did so at 2:30 p.m. July 27, 2011, according to interviews with two senior White House aides who were directly involved."

It's evident Obama's mission appears is to go from one manufactured crisis to another, to 'fundamentally change' the United States, i.e., cause the destruction of free market capitalism and replace it with socialism and eventually communism.
No one has so succintly nailed this whole sequestergate mess better than Sarah Palin when she wrote on her Facebook page Tuesday:
"If we are going to wet our proverbial pants over 0.3% in annual spending cuts when we’re running up trillion dollar annual deficits, then we’re done. Put a fork in us. We’re finished. We’re going to default eventually and that’s why the feds are stockpiling bullets in case of civil unrest." That's right folks, the reality is we're talking about a 0.3% cut in the rate of growth:

So, what is going to be the next manufactured crisis? Obama may have an unintended one with the threats to Bob Woodward and Lanny Davis. Will the media circle the wagons or continue to carry water for Obama? We'll see.
Will the worldwide financial default be 'averted' by . . what? An attack on Iran? Stay tuned for the next WH crisis.
Every single thing this man has done, since taking office, is to avoid dealing with the ACTUAL REAL problems this country faces every day. Whether it be the deficit, debt, terrorism, health care. The list goes on and on.
His whole presidency is a crystal clear example of how liberals and their ilk, are nothing but extortionist, incompetents, and spoiled brats.
Totally agree, especially the spoiled brat part. It's been my experience a lot of the far lefties are silver spooned 'trust fund' kids who go to college and fall for the Marxist line. In my time it fit in with the whole hippie thing. . 'utopia'. . etc.

The only real problems we have is GOVERNMENT.Government is too big , too expensive too hurtful to businesses ,and robs our rights and freedom. If we massively roll back government especially eliminating these gov agencies like the EPA, FDA, FCC etc we will have practically no problems
All these like these are fake crisis invented by the media and democrats and obama to get us and Republicans to agree to grow government more and to increase taxes. fake crisis of the media and democrats include: sequester bs of the media, global warming, “fiscal cliff” and so on
what we need to do is repeal laws like for example repealing the EPA (laws that authorize it) , repealing Obamacare.
Imagine how the economy would expand if we had cheap energy that would result if the stupid,corrupt EPA is abolished. Just eliminating this one agency would let the economy grow

I remember reading that the technology that serves the oil/gas industry is so much more advanced and efficient, but that the refineries are old. Problem is, the energy companies cannot modify or build newer refineries, that would make energy cheaper, more efficient and less harmful.
A grad student at Ohio State has developed a method of using the energy stored in coal, without burning it in the traditional sense. Therefore, no black smoke spewing out of a chimney, even though that doesn’t happen anymore either.
What an amazing place our country would become again if people/companies didn’t have to deal with three tree huggers that are more concerned with the three toed, speckled, green eyed frog, which will find another place to live and breed.
Oh well.
