BUSH SHOULD RUN IN 2016
DIRTYSECRET

Posted on 03/06/2013 8:55:31 PM PST by DIRTYSECRET

HEAR ME OUT. HE should run and put the rest of us in a position to reject him as well as the elite. We've had this battle before and it's getting old. Let's get it over with. The end result will be 64' or 1980 and I'm prepared for both. The RINO'S aren't.

How about we quit doing the same thing over and over expecting different results?

Jeb should just fade away and unlike most recent elections, we should gather around a SINGLE conservative candidate early on, not let several split up the primary and all come out losers.

Just send a message now to RINOs that we won’t vote for them and more importantly, we won’t finance them.

Looks like Jeb is already running to me. His dreamy eyed cheer leading squad is out in full force and he’s in full rubber chicken dinner circuit mode showing off his dodge and weave skills.

Your plan really did not work out well in 2008 and 2012. Do you some sort of evidence that “next” time will have any different result whatsoever. The GOP has succumbed to the democrats. We now have two choices, soft left or hard left. Reagan’s 1964 prediction has come to pass. We’re the generation that lost freedom.

I think he just lost. I hope so anyway.

We don’t need him.

“The end result will be 64’ “

Like in 1864, the build up to the Civil War? Geez, I;ve been praying for it every night. Let’s hurry this up!

How about we just nominate Rand Paul and maybe those 4 million republicans who sat home in Nov will show up in 2016.

Jeb Bush should run... to a podium to announce that he’s not going to run for president because he’s a squishy big-government republicrat like his brother and his daddy and he’s finally realized that this country needs a real conservative to clean up the messes of the last few administrations and get our country back on the right path.

I know, wishful thinking.

But I’m ready to hear that Jesse Jackson phrase echoed nationwide: “Keep out the Bushes!”

Even with 4 million extra votes Romney would still have lost. Even with 8 million more votes McCain would still have lost.

Here is the deal.

The republican party is not really conservative. It is a plain jane middle of the road party.

We have had a Nixon, Dole, or Bush on every ticket since 1952 except for 1964, 2008 and 2012.

A middle of the road party is not that bad. It is the nitwit leftists in the democrat party that are nuts.

Whichever candidate the GOPe thinks ‘it’s his turn’ will get the backing of the GOPe. That includes money and primaries set up in such as way as to help that GOPe candidate. That is a tall wall for any other contenders to climb.

Many on FR wanted to know which candidate I supported in 2012, because I was throwing mud at all of them. I posted that it didn’t matter, because the election would be decided long before my state primary. In 2012, my state’s primary was so late that it was irrelevant. The nominee had been determined a month or more beforehand.

Since the Republican candidate can’t win in 2016, it doesn’t really matter

You can lump 1996 with Bob Dole into that mix and probably 1992 as well when Bush I ran for a second term.

By that time, conservatives realized that they didn't get Reagan III in 1988, so they pitched him over for Clinton, thanks to Ross Perot!

the ruling elite of the pubs play the base for saps, just like the dems play their base’for saps. the poor keep voting democrat and what’s it done for them? keep them poor.

the pub elite just pay lip service to us. some platitudes and some fear about dems making it worse if we don’t back them.

they count on the fact we don’t get that they don’t mind the democrats moving things to the left via incrementalism/dialectic. they make a big fuss but never expose what’s going on because they don’t mind the left shifting everything left. they keep their jobs because they say they’re doing their best to stop the changes, but let the dems keep changing stuff, slowly. gotta keep me in office or the dems will really push things left. who will be there to stop it?

they never reverse anything when they can. they never stop stuff dead even though they could use the rules to do so.

there’s a ton of globalists in the ruling gop elite. they’re in the same box as the dem libtard one worlders. they may differ on details but they’re all freaking globalists. why is the entire leadership not talking impeachement on this attack on the second amendment, the dhs army being created, and drone strikes on us citizens? seriously. they’re all sitting there jacking off to pay-per-view while the reichstag burns and wondering if the dow will hit 15,000 before it bursts.

Yup....demographics being what they are the GOP is finished as a national party. Over 40 million Legal immigrants since the 1965 Immigration Act (most of them poor & from the third world) & millions more by 2016 will see to it that ANY democrat will walk into the White House with ease by then.
