Examiner ^ | March 16, 2013 | David Codrea

Posted on 03/16/2013 12:58:57 PM PDT by Travis McGee

The sighting of a Department of Homeland Security Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) at a gas station near Ybor City, Fla. on Wednesday is raising questions, concerns and fears about what the federal government is foreseeing in terms of likely needs for such armed and armored transports.

Turn to do what McGee?

Just what has set you off and made you so childish, are you so convinced at this stage that DHS bought those MRAPs instead of the Marines that you will lash out at any freeper who isn’t completely convinced yet?

What were the posting limits that you wanted to see on this thread?

I have no idea what you are so angry and petulant about.

Conservatives need to be thinking people and fact based people, we need some decent reporters and publications and writers that we can trust.

Now the DHS says they have 32, no plans for more.

Doesn't your link say that DHS has 16, and that the Customs/Border Patrol has 16?

I was guessing that somebody else wrote it, and they recorded it.

Same here. I thought Jagger was just the pretty boy of the Stones I didn't know he could write. I recall that I really liked Get Off Of My Cloud. Wiki says that was written by Jagger and Richards and came out in '65. I was a punk 10 yr old sixth grader, starting to notice girls and getting an attitude about authority. lol

Ruby Tuesday was my favorite at that time. Written by Keith Richards.

I’d say the theme of “Won’t Get Fooled Again” has finally undeniably come to be.

Yes, indeed!

And the men who spurred us on,
sit in judgment of all wrong.
They decide and the shotgun sings the song.

Cue the Jeapordy theme: Think hard:

WHO DOES THE CUSTOMS/BORDER PATROL WORK FOR?

Just brilliant, and they are still alive and kicking. Unlike, say, the Liverpool moptops.

So they are to be seen as one and the same?

What is all this anger about? Was there to be no interaction on this thread, no normal inquiries or observations?

What does that even mean, why wouldn’t I want the thread to continue, I am interested in the topic.

The Stones still going, The Beatles long gone ... I don’t think anyone would have predicted that in 1968. The first two LPs I ever bought were A Hard Day’s Night and Rubber Soul. The only Beatles albums I ever bought. Essential tunes for an 11 yr old boy trying to get an 11 yr old girl to dance with him in 1966. ha!

No, it’s great, let’s keep playing. You post, I post, 15 more folks read about the MRAPs. Want to to see them in action, training to drive over fences and smash doors and windows? Makes you proud to be an Amerikan, comrade!

Playing what? what is going on with you?

Would you try and tell me what set you off, I don’t even know anything that we have disagreed on except that I am not convinced about DHS having bought the 2717 MRAPS until I get some more information.

I hope a thousand people read the thread, I am on the thread, I am reading the thread, what in the world is this about you and this idea that I don’t like the thread or the topic or whatever it is that you keep raging at?

So, who exactly is planting IED’s in Ybor City?

Eric Holder's Justyice Department. Same ones running military weapons to Mexican drug gangs.

a paintball gun can do the same thing from thirty+ yards...

Thirty Yards? That about the same as thirty meters? Just wondering....
