The language used reveals the truth. There is marriage and there is gay marriage. Two distinct things.

G-d defined marriage.
What mere people do to words does not change G-d’s plan.
Islam has polygamy, child brides and bestiality by all indications. San Francisco has every manner of coupling.
What governments choose to call a certain social contract or not will be a blessing or curse on their populace purely by the nature of those couplings they encourage.
In other words, if government wants to allow gay marriage, the society will reap what it has sown. I don’t think that’s a particularly helpful or healthful standard for the population, but I’m quite sure G-d will bring down hellfire and brimstone on the society that offends his plan.
So, you place your bets and takes your chances.
I don’t know G-d’s mind. But if I had to guess, he’d keep “marriage” to the largely naturally occurring pairing of one man and one woman for the purposes of child bearing. The alternatives are less natural, personally and socially successful, and sexually reproductive. So, I think intuiting G-d’s purpose from the nature of man is a pretty good shot at divining divinity.
So there. That’s all I have to say about that.
It is MANS secular system that has adopted Gods sacrament.
But man cannot coopt God.
If secular man wants so much to have its own secular union, so be it. But IT IS NOT marriage.
As far as it being a civil right. For millenia homosexuality has been viewed as a perversion. Society has denied homosexuality and gays don't like it. They want their perversions to be accepted in society, claiming they are being discriminated against because of their sexuality. The problem with this claim is that there is nothing to show that homosexuality is anything other than a choice made to enter into perversion. There have been countless studies done, and countless "theories", but no evidence that its a born trait.
In fact NUMEROUS people have SUCCESSFULLY gone through treatment programs to deprogram them from homosexuality. Further showing that it is a choice and not hereditary.
Well, Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines and he was supposed to be the wisest man who ever lived.
I think he suffered some serious consequences because of his poor decisions. I think Israel suffered as well.

They can call it marriage, but it isn’t. Marriage was created by people trying to adhere to the laws of God. What do two men or two women have to promise each other when it comes to creating children? The answer is nothing. So why join in a union? Get somebody else to provide the kid? That in itself is perversion. They are all about perversion.
