On FOX News Sunday this week, Sen. Dianne Feinstein was pressed by host Chris Wallace to explain why it's fine that Watertown, Mass. residents aren't allowed to be equipped with assault weapons.

Feinstein said if citizens do want to arm and protect themselves, they should consider using a 12-gauge shotgun because it's a "good defensive effect" that would contribute to the "element of surprise."
Feinstein added Watertown citizens could also depend on police who were "all over the place" at the time. Transcript below.

Kidding aside, it does not matter what Feinstein think we need. I want to arm and protect myself and my family, I get to make my own decision.

Either Feinstein and her cohorts really are that stupid or they think all of us are.
None of my weapons are “assault” weapons. They are very scary looking defensive weapons. None of my weapons are used for assault. When DiFi was “packing” years ago, why didn’t she carry a shotgun in her purse since she apparently has a shotgun fetish?
Someone needs to ask this attention whore if this many police will be around when an intruder breaks in to rape and murder a woman in front of her children.

Agree for sure. Heard an interesting statistic; about 25 people her in the U.S. die from avalanches. And, about ten die each year by so called assult weapons. So, what are we going to do about those avalanches? I’m thinking that if even one life can be saved we should ban back country skiing...........

Apparently this hag missed that it was a civilian who found terrorist #2, who would have plenty of time to kill that civilian and other before the police arrived at the boat.
You need as much (at least) as your attacker brings to the fight.

Don't worry. A wounded 19 year old boy was surrounded by a virtual army of donut munchers all geared up with millions of dollars worth of gear including helicopters with FLIR technology, urban TANKS...
We had the local Boston Police, the University Police, Mass. State Troopers, the FBI, DHS, ATF and even the left wing media had this scared, stupid, wounded, incompetent kid totally surrounded.
Then, he just drove away.
They could not find him.
An unarmed civilian found him.
Bears repeating: "He just got into a car and drove away and we cannot find him..."
"Which way did he go, which way did he go?"
But have no fear, the FBI is involved...
