Glenn Beck's big Monday reveal is about the wrong person
Examiner ^ | April 22 | Michael Ross

Posted on 04/22/2013 3:16:46 PM PDT by RDangerfield

On April 19th, Glenn Beck accused the United States government of conducting a widespread coverup regarding Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, a Saudi national who was injured during the Boston Marathon bombing, and promised that, on Monday, he would reveal information he had allegedly obtained that revealed Alharbi "was a very bad, bad, bad man," which he threatened to reveal on Monday unless the government came clean first.

Beck has since made good on his promise and claimed that the NTC issued an event file calling for Alharbi's deportation using section 212, 3B which is proven terrorist activity.

"We are not sure who actually tagged him as a ’212 3B,’ but we know it is very difficult to charge someone with this — it has to be almost certain," said Beck. "It is the equivalent in civil society of charging someone with premeditated murder and seeking the death penalty — it is not thrown around lightly." ... There's just one problem: Alharbi and the Saudi national who was called for deportation are two different people.

Representative Jeff Duncan (R-SC), whom The Blaze credited as possessing the original event file, already asked the DHS Secretary, Janet Napolitano, about the Saudi national during a hearing last Thursday. Napolitano stated that she was "unaware of anyone who is being deported for national security concerns at all related to Boston."

According to DHS officials, the other individual is already in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody.

Furthermore, the other Saudi national was only reported to have been detained for being in violation of his visa, with no mention of 212 3B given at all. According to DHS officials, his case and the Boston Marathon are unrelated.

This is not some new revelation. It was information that was all freely available to Beck.

To their credit, the Washington Examiner, the conservative newspaper of the D.C./Virginia area, has taken a lead in deflating the balloon of Beck and dozens of other blogs and TV and radio yakkers.

Something tells me this is not the final word on this subject. There will be another shoe to drop.

Whatever the case may be, this government owes the people of this country a detailed, truthful and immediate explanation of exactly what is going on here, because right now it looks like they are covering for Saudi terrorists.

So, we’re supposed to believe there were TWO Saudis, a terrorist watch list, a student visa, a change of status on someone flagged as an active terrorist, a denial by Janet Napolitano that any Saudi was scheduled for deportation AFTER the status change, etc. etc. Who got to the Examiner?

I thought I heard Beck say that a Congressman had a copy of the file with the 213 3B tag on it. Did I hear that right?

He said several have it. But he specifically named Duncan from South Carolina.

The one that questioned Napalitano.

Beck goes on for days maybe weeks about some really important expose and comes up with nothing.

Personally, I would like to know more about the Saudi student who was so close to the bomb-blast that he was injured and was acting so suspicious that somebody had the guts to tackle him and turn him into police.

I would further like to know why the First Lady visited him and why she was allowed to visit him by the Secret Service.

I am not sure that this story is over yet.

The two bombers certainly had a lot of money to throw around, considering that their mom was shoplifting, their dad had skipped the country, and the older brother had an ex-wife and child to support. When you add in that both brothers were “college students,” their cars and clothes kind of indicate that they had a lot of money, which had to come from somewhere.

I will give Glenn a while longer to make his case.

BTTT

Plus the fact that this story is being scrubbed from virtually every spot on the Internet tells me there are those who do NOT want this out.

Anytime Janet the Gut speaks about something I know the opposite is true. Citing DHS for accurate information about ANYTHING is asking for laughter all around. Sorry the Examiner guy is pumping false information but maybe it makes him feel better

So, this author’s evidence that Beck, Breitbart and others are wrong is that “DHS says it was another Saudi national that they refuse to name?”
