The gift of geniuses, probably will never happen again...A miracle in every sense of the word, and the GOP just assumes the fetal position and lets them destroy it. You would think the slightest showing of tyranny would bring down the worst kind of hammer, but no.

Like Obama, he thinks he is wiser than our Founding Fathers. Ancient Greeks called it hubris.

If we “reinterpreted” the Constitution to what it was suppose to be, Mayor Bloomturd would have already been shot by a firing squad.

Would you like a blindfold and a cigarette with that?

Franklin said it differently ~ in fact, several different ways differently. Then, too, others have paraphrased it erroneously.

I think he meant something other than what most believe that he might have meant when he said whatever it was he said, but he was, in fact, a Quaker!

Let me suggest that he was AGAINST STANDING ARMIES ~ because such institutions entail someone ~ to wit, soldiers ~ to give up their most essential liberties to provide what is at best temporary security to the citizenry they protect.

You can't, in general, trust traditional Quakers and Camisards in matters of national defense.

We shouldn’t do anything like this without a controlled test. I think we should take away the amendment rights from the top 1,000 Progressives for 5 years as a test before we fiddle with the Constitution for the rest of us.

The Constitution is just fine but it is the communists Democrats that are controlling our Country that is the problem.

Absolutely disgusting. I’d predict a mass exodus from New York City, but I doubt that the small percentage of residents who know about this will even care. They don’t need to defend themselves, Big Brother Bloomberg is always watching, and he will keep them safe.

Gasbag Bloomberg,

Your ignorance is only matched by your ego.

Feel free to take a nice, long walk on a short pier...preferably just after a thaw.

Ironic that the Federalist Papers were “To the People of the State of New York:”

Maybe Bloomberg is trying to distract his New Yorkers from something they should really be worried about. Maybe they would have no choice other than “bugging out” at some point in time—those who would be alive after international nuclear exchanges between quite a few nations, that is. The price of kowtowing for “free trade” without regard to risks:

And what would a nuclear war between us, the Chinese, Russia, Iran, N. Korea and others do to real estate prices and property taxes? Hmmm?
