It's 'Not Islam'? The Terrorist Disagrees (full)
LPSullivan.com ^ | May 24, 2013 | Leigh Patrick Sullivan

There comes a point in time when reality must be accepted, a moment where blinders must come off and excuses must be shoved aside in order to face the truth.

In the few days since the London daylight terror attack, apologists from anti-war activists all the way up to Prime Minister David Cameron have done back-flips attempting to convince us to ignore the reason behind it.

The cliché “it’s not Islam, it’s a (enter term here like ‘murder’, ‘random act of violence’, etc.)” has filled television broadcasts and social media. London mayor Boris Johnson – from what I understand, a conservative – was fast out of the gate to push Islam out of consideration.

They are knowingly lying to you. One of the terrorists agrees with me, as proven by his post-attack rant on this video. He explicitly states his reasons – and quotes passages from the Quran to back them up.

When a killer confesses, politicians who try to whitewash the truth from the public see their credibility drop into untrustworthy territory. They are either unbelievably naïve for their station in life or, more dangerously, they are knowingly putting their political considerations ahead of the safety of citizens.

To say this attack, or the Boston Marathon bombing, or the riots by Islamic youth now occurring in Sweden, or Benghazi, or the many intended Canadian terrorist attacks that have been prevented because of the great work of our own security services were ‘isolated events’ or ‘random acts of violence’ goes far beyond insulting the intelligence of the citizens of the Western world – it encourages more frequent and deadly attacks by these Islamic cult animals.

It also indicates the end result of Western multiculturalism, social policies of inclusion, and a lack of understanding of other cultures and religions. Political-correctness in our governments and our societies has opened the door for the enemy to walk through. Our major flaw of continuing to think in logical, Geneva Convention-style terms has led us down the path of ignorance.

We expect a war to be stocked with men and women in battle fatigues, weapons in full view, and organized into the standard subgroups with a firm chain of command that follows the ‘rules of war’.

That Cold War thinking doesn’t apply here. The enemy hasn’t invaded through conventional means. They have infiltrated our society by using our weaknesses against us: porous immigration systems, lax background checks, and permissive political correct progressives in decision-making positions.

As we’ve been standing ready against a conventional foreign invasion, the enemy has come up from underground and now lives amongst us.

The progressive media behemoth will continue to bend itself every which way to avoid calling ‘immigrant riots’ what they are: Muslim riots. Apologists will go on pushing their narrative that Islam is a religion of peace and that the ‘radicals’ are but a sliver of the overall Muslim population.

Evidence that proves those claims to be false is overwhelming.

Historically, followers of Islam have followed a set pattern based on patience. Over several years they move into a new territory, increase their numbers then begin to make demands for their own land, laws, and rights. When they meet resistance to their agenda, well, the result can be seen right now in Sweden.

Islamists don’t assimilate. They take over.

There was a time when I supported our troops going into volatile Middle East nations. After Iraq and Afghanistan, I have come to realize that you cannot force savages to make an instant multi-century jump into civility. Nor is it our responsibility to try.

I have also accepted the fact that there are cultures and religious doctrines which, no matter how attempted, are completely incompatible. As long as there are Islamists living beside us on our streets in the Free world, a very real danger exists. They follow teachings that say either we (non-Muslims) convert or we die. This is the basis by which these ‘random attacks’ are occurring. We are the enemy in our own countries.

The inclusionary, tolerant agenda we have followed for decades has come back to haunt us. It’s time for some radical damage control. Let the expulsion of this virus from our lands begin.

Barack Obama said we are not at war with Islam. He may even believe that. But there can be no doubt that Islam is at war with us.

Left one out: urgent need for LIVs.

David Cameron, Boris Johnson and the rest of the apologists are now knowingly getting infidels killed to cover for the blood cult that is Islam. They are more guilty that the silent Muslims who shelter and passively support the soldiers of Allah.

That rumbling sound they hear in UK is Enoch Powell turning over in his grave.

See my tag.
How many of these “acts of faith” will it take before we say, “It’s the religion, stupid!”

A great on target article.

Our problem is the Islamic supporters and excuse makers like John Brennan, now the head of the CIA.

He didn't get there on his own he had help.
Thirteen Republicans voted to confirm Brennan.
Five Republican members of the Senate Intelligence Committee voted for him.
High profile republicans on that committee gave Brennan their vote. ( Sens. John McCain (Ariz.), Lindsey Graham (S.C.) and Marco Rubio (Fla.).- tom

In the case of suicide attacks, there is a reasonable argument to be made that they are “un-Islamic” in view of the fact that classically Islam had a strong prohibition against suicide, which was weakened in the context of attacks on non-Muslims only since the 1950’s under the influence of the writings of Saayed Qutb.

This case, however, should be made by Muslim ulema, not non-Muslims (taking a position on what is or is not consonant with a religion of which one is not an adherent of is rather absurd: one really does not expect a Muslim, Buddhist, Jew or atheist to have a valid position on a matter of controversy among Christians, like, say, the “Rapture” or the papal claims). Alas, they are remarkably unwilling to do so — I believe only one imam based in London has issued a blanket condemnation of “martyrdom operations”, all other condemnations made publicly have carved out exceptions for Muslim lands under non-Muslim occupation (meaning primarily Israel, though the argument given would apply to Afghanistan, and potentially any Muslim nation hosting military bases for non-Muslim nations) or attacks on non-Muslim nations occupying or fighting against Muslims in their own lands (making the condemnation nearly meaningless).

However, it is very hard to argue that attacks by Muslims on non-Muslims which, like the murder of Lee Rigby, follow explicitly the Qu’ranic edict “strike at the necks of the unbelievers” in which the attacker explicitly cites Islam as his motivation are not directly rooted in Islam. (Though if Baroness Warsi wants to try, I’ll be interested to hear her argument and compare it with the positions of noted ulema both Sunni and Shia.)
