Bush-Era NSA Whistleblower Makes Most Explosive Allegations Yet About Extent of Gov’t Surveillance..
The Blaze ^

Posted on 06/20/2013 11:24:23 PM PDT by quesney

Russ Tice, a former intelligence analyst and Bush-era NSA whistleblower, claimed Wednesday that the intelligence community has ordered surveillance on a wide range of groups and individuals, including high-ranking military officials, lawmakers and diplomats.

He also made another stunning allegation. He says the NSA had ordered wiretaps on phones connected to then-Senate candidate Barack Obama back in 2004.

“They went after–and I know this because I had my hands literally on the paperwork for these sort of things–they went after high-ranking military officers; they went after members of Congress, both Senate and the House, especially on the intelligence committees and on the armed services committees and some of the–and judicial,” Tice told Peter B. Collins on Boiling Frog Post News.

He went on: “But they went after other ones, too. They went after lawyers and law firms. All kinds of–heaps of lawyers and law firms. They went after judges. One of the judges is now sitting on the Supreme Court that I had his wiretap information in my hand. Two are former FISA court judges. They went after State Department officials. They went after people in the executive service that were part of the White House–their own people.”

Makes you wonder whether RINOs (politicians and judges, like Supreme Court justice Roberts) are RINOs because they are compromised.

It would explain an awful lot.

it might also explain bolton and cheneys angry response to snowden- calling him a ttraitor for revealign what terrorists ALREADY KNEW- that the US was spyign on them, tappuing phones, listenign in to cell phones, listenign via satellite, viewing via sattelite etc-

I said fro mthe beginning I thought bopth their reactiosn were a bit too angry especially hwne very little is known abotu what snowden actually knows- I suspected that perhaps even the republicans were afraid of what snowden might release- and hten I saw fox news all of a sudden make a 180 degree turn to where they mostly were attackign snowdne BEFORE even learnign abotu any facts about hte case- I just felt fox was perhaps ordered to attack snowden and try to deligitimize him discredit him, smear him before any facts were nkown becasue it might reflect badly on the GOP as well as dems

Never forget conservatives can be idealogues too and act just as bad as the Leftists. These folks are neoconservatives. That’s why I wasn’t too surprised by their response to Snowden. But what surprised me is that they got the RINOs to agree with them.

“He later admitted he was the key source in a bombshell New York Times report that exposed the Bush administration’s use of warantless wiretapping of international communications in the United States.”

Meanwhile O’s NSA is wiretpping Tea Party members and conservatives
yet that is not a bombshell.

Neocons are easy to spot: They have an obsessive hatred of Russia and China. They supported the Arab Spring. They want to fight Syria and Iran. They demand American-style democracy in all countries and complain if anti-American parties get elected. They believe there’s a simple solution to fix all foreign policy problems and if not, USA must go to war against countries that disagree with them. Guess what, that’s Bush and it’s also Obama.

Many have been threatened. They can moan and groan and make noises but they don’t dare cross the line. IMO

EVERYBODY should already know that folks who picked Alger Hiss over Chambers made a really serious mistake. Hiss didn't have any American interests at heart ~ only those of the Communist party politboro in Moscow.

When it comes to treachery or espionage best bet is to step back and see what they got first, but I must confess to a bias ~ guys who say they stole stuff and head for the Chicoms got some real 'splainin to do!

What we got here is the absolute leader of the Executive federal government calling himself BLACK..
WHEN he is not any blacker than he is white.. is the truth..

You start with a lie and literally everything else goes downhill..
He is a mulatto he is not black..

I have nothing against mulattos, I just dont like lies..
The President is a liar and quite literally every single federal executive branch agency is tarnished by HIM..

Not only the federal agency(s) but every single person that works for those agency’s.. is complicit..

The slime runs downhill.. Including the military..
Name an agency..... its infected and operated by liars..
The American givernment runs on bribery..
Like the most primitive 3rd world country..

The American peoples opinion trumps “the Truth”
They cannot tell the difference between the truth and an opinion..

Democracy was, is and will always be Mob Rule.. by mobsters....
It is now and always was a LIE.. i.e. democracy
The the republic has become a democracy..

Thats WHY?... the american Constitution does not have the words democracy, democrat or democratic in it anywhere..
By design it is not an oversight.. its on purpose..

To wit: Democracy is Mob Rule by mobsters..
It is a filthy word.. a obscene scam.. a boondoggle..
A Rube Goldberg political machine.. fooling the half-educated..

By gub'mnt what do you mean?

Do you mean your neighborhood letter carrier? Perhaps there's a secretary at HUD who answered the phone in a snippy manner.

Or do you mean the CURRENT RULING CLIQUE ~ which is just a few dozen people?

If I had a nickel for every time someone MISUSED the word “neocon” as you have, I’d be rich.

“Neocon” — for those who obviously have not studied Greek/Latin root words — simply means NEWLY conservative — in this particular case - conservatives WHO HAD ONCE BEEN LIBERALS. If a person was NEVER a “liberal” a la Buckley, they should NEVER be called a “neocon.” Please remember this and stop spreading ignorance.

An example of a true “neocon” would be Krauthammer.

The whole point of the article is to get one to accept that NSA spies on everyone, therefore there is no ‘bias’.

Which is true. The problem is what use is made of that information. Bush used it to intercept traffic between certain Middle East fellows and their useful idiots in the U.S. It says so in the article.

The problem is what the Obama Administration and the Democrat Party have been doing with the information.

No wonder we aren’t popular with all these third world nations. We’re trying to ram ‘democratic government’ down their throat. Maybe that’s why they want to cut ours.

Uh... let's just stick to the current WH Administration, the various appointees and czars, Congress and Senate.

If we go by your last proposal, it just verifies my claim.

It’s not just foreign policy.

You can take Lindsey Graham’s political position on just about anything controversial that is domestic as well, and understand that to be the political position of the compromised.
