There’s a Libel suit in there somewhere. Might not be if they just put “gun owners” in general, but if they list you and define you as “unsafe owner or handler”, that would be Libel if it isn’t true.
I think every college professor in my town would love to have me upload their unsafe gun address just to be safe.
Gun owners should respond with a similar app that identifies gun free locations.
...or anonymously call in a SWATting.
In other words, if you are a good liberal and suspect your neighbors or in-laws are gun-toting Tea Party type enemies of the State, you can use this application to oust and shame them in public. Not mentioning the fact that they will have a target painted on their back for both, the police and the criminals who are looking to break into homes and steal their guns.

I see a huge inundation of people getting in and overloading that app so it becomes, essentially, useless? why not start uploading every address in a city onto it?
That was the first thing that crossed my mind. Heck, where I live gun ownership would be the default setting.
Excellent idea. In fact, that is precisely what I’m going to do. I’m going to download the app and tag every stinking liberal I know of or even suspect.
How about an app for section 8 and other “public” housing?

I had just arrived home to our environmentally sustainable co-op after a trip to Whole Foods for some organic fair trade patchouli candles. As I walked into the bedroom, I saw it: A huge gun safe with the word "Liberty" scrolled across the front, a right-wing code word for racism. Slowly I opened the door, only to be confronted by two evil black rifles and two that were so evil as to be camouflaged! One was marked "12 GA," another "AR-15," and a third said, "AK-47". Obviously I have no idea how guns from as far away as Georgia, Arkansas, and Alaska made it into my own house. One of them even said, "Ruger," on it, a German word that probably means some sort of Nazi thing. Another said, "Mossberg," which I can only assume was an anti-Semitic slur. Terrified that these guns might jump out and kill me right there, I slammed the door closed. I immediately grabbed my Obamaphone and opened my gun geo marker app to see if these guns had been marked. To my surprise, NOTHING! How these evil black (no offense) rifles got into my own apartment I'll never know, but this app failed to warn me. I could have died! Thank Obama I survived!

Get hold of the (D) voter registration logs, which are public information in most states AND include voter address, and upload those.
