It’s official. They are shutting all of us down ASAP. Marching orders straight from the White House.
Update: Mr. Meyer emails to add that not only is his business being forced to take losses for the closures, but in some cases the government is making him and the other park management companies buy the barricades that will be used to shut the parks.
Warren Meyer of Phoenix, AZ, is owner and president of Recreation Resource Management, Inc. RRM employs about 400-500 camp workers and managers across about a dozen states. It is one of a handful of companies that have been managing national parks and campgrounds as tenants for years, through previous government shutdowns including the last one in 1995-1996. Those previous shutdowns never closed any of the parks managed in this way, but the current shutdown threatens closure.
The campgrounds are self-sufficient and receive no federal funding. No government employees staff or manage the parks. The management companies pay the National Park Service out of the funds they generate from operating the thousands of campgrounds. So the reason for the shutdown is puzzling to Meye
I was driving by a state park tonight (Allaire) and there was a US Parks Police car backed into and blocking the park entrance. I don’t know if that’s coincidence, or if state parks are now being affected.
This is so symbolic of this Administration/Obama’s having no sense of their/his job, its responsibilities, where their power ends. They also put up barackades at Mt Vernon which has never been owned by the government. But they *think* they own or are in charge of everything within the US and its territories.
Do not comply!!

Glenn Beck was saying today that the regime is well past the nudge stage and is now going full speed into the push stage. They’re TRYING to incite anger, class wars, etc....not prevent them.

By what law can the Zero King order private parks, etc. to close?
Why were US Parks Police at a State Park? Does it receive federal funds?

This might be desperate but Barry is getting away with it. He is getting away with federalizing our private health care and now this.

National Peoples TV just ran a series called National Parks, sub titled Americas best idea.
Now, with the spectacle of brown shirted Federal employees telling Citizens get the hell out of here, you have no right to be here - how ironic is that?
Here’s another issue — how is he closing parks that receive NO Fed funding? How do ACORN/DeathCareNavigoons get *funded* to go door to door, etc if we can’t keep parks open?
