I'd really be interested in knowing how 300 illegals can actually afford to go to UT.. This college charges some serious $$$$$ to attend it.

This is actually my immigration solution.

Offer a $1000/head bounty on illegals to any US citizen who brings one in. Then ship them directly across the border - no further detention or processing.

I know rednecks who will make $300,000 from the bounties, 20 million illegals will only cost $20 Billion + shipping to deport, and the unpleasant experience of being apprehended by a redneck will dissuade further incursions.

Problem solved in less than two years.

If these costs hit the countries-of-origin, many nations would help build a fence - one the other side of the border.

One was randomly assigned as my kid's dorm mate. He was on full scholarship whereas my 3rd in his HS graduating class US citizen kid barely got enough to cover one year. Look at UT's medical/health degree pages and you'll see the little wink-wink about citizenship.

Ah, the West Mall. I tried walking through there once, never again, and was accosted by a bunch of protesting middle easterners. Never did understand what they were upset about. Probably the US. But they were yelling and angry and getting in people’s faces. All with the approval of the powers that be.
