IIRC, 7% thought his assassination was to cover up proof of aliens on earth. Oy.

Now be honest if that was an option on a stupid survey, wouldn’t you check that one.

I was at TSN and Pleiku in 68-69. I loved the country and the people.
I was artillery up on the DMZ for 13 months and it was holy hell. Nevertheless, I did see some of the country while diddy-bopping from FB to FB and it was beautiful.
Two things stand out - sunsets (and those long awaited sun rises) and the sky at night. The Milky Way was unbelievable.
Just as a side note - my son was a teacher in China for 4 years and traveled extensively throughout Asia. He said Vietnam was the most beautiful, had the best food and the nicest people.
Now, if they could just get rid of the commies ...

My dad, a lifelong Texas democrat, believed LBJ did it. He thought he did it so LBJ could get rich off of war contracts with Brown & Root. I worked with a 'Nam vet about 30 years ago who felt the same way. He hated LBJ and Lady Bird because of 'Nam.

That being said, dad was a yellow dog democrat and still voted for LBJ over a republican.

Elbie Jay did not pull the trigger himself, but he almost certainly knew who to call in order to set the series of events into motion.

Yep. The House Committee on Assassinations got it right, Kennedy's fatal shots were from the rear and the front at nearly the same time.

Roger Stones publicity mail-out has this (from Amazon) via Robert Morrow (”expert”)

“By late November, 1963, the Kennedys were within days of politically executing and personally destroying Lyndon Johnson via a two track program: 1) a devastating RFK-fed LIFE Magazine expose of LBJ’s astounding corruption and 2) an RFK-nurtured Senate Rules Committee investigation into LBJ’s habit of taking large bribes and kickbacks.”

http://www.amazon.com/review/R3E8QQMV0IRO4Z/ref=cm_cd_pg_pg2?ie=UTF8&asin=1626363137&cdForum=FxMJSH1TRY1G6Q&cdPage=2&cdThread=TxJKIDOIR66WO0&store=books#wasThisHelpful

I have no idea if this is so, at least the Time Life part should be something that could be corraborated.

There were a lot of unexplained deaths in the decade after the assassination and people close to the scene clammed up. We are now in the time period where would-be witnesses are no longer afraid and may want to tell what they know.

My prediction is there are more shocking revelations to come.

A Few Questions that Beg for Answers

Why did RFK ask LBJ: “Why did you have my brother killed?” Was he off his rocker? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tclZrJiJSL0

Why were fingerprints of Mac Wallace, a known assassin who worked for LBJ and Ed Clark, found in the sniper’s nest on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository?
http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/JFKwallaceM.htm

Why did LBJ exclaim to his mistress Madeleine Duncan Brown after a meeting at Dallas house of Clint Murchison, attended by J. Edgar Hoover, Nixon, Mafia kingpins, and CIA allies of LBJ) on the eve of the assassination: “After tomorrow, those goddamn Kennedys will never embarrass me again. That’s no threat. That’s a promise”? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79lOKs0Kr_Y

Who desperately wanted to be president and thought JFK had stolen the Democratic nomination from him? Who was going to be dropped from the JFK ticket in 1964 because of financial scandals? Who invited JFK to Dallas? Who changed the president’s route to pass by the Book Depository? Who moved to secure the limousine and JFK’s body immediately after the assassination? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSXQYvm57YM

Who set up the Warren Commission and demanded Oswald be found to be the sole gunman? Who controlled the police in Dallas and the FBI and CIA in Washington? The answer: Lyndon Baines Johnson. LBJ had the motive, the means, the opportunity, the history of eliminating his opponents, and the quotations that point to his arrangement and approval of the JFK assassination and vigorous cover-up. LBJ was the clear winner.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiqnU3rbsow

That LBJ was responsible does not deny CIA/FBI/Secret Service and Mafia involvement but strengthens the case against him as he provided the leadership and federal resources to coordinate the assassination, select a patsy (in the CIA’s False Defector Program), and dominate the news media, such that to this day most news outlets are afraid to challenge the Warren Commission’s official story. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjU2LtVGxN0

Why do the majority of Texans and a majority of Europeans believe LBJ was behind the murder of JFK? Why do we have such difficulty in accepting the fact that a coup d’etat happened on our watch, given that we elected (and re-elected) a Muslim Marxist with no substantive experience, no discernible achievements, and a profound hatred of things American, i.e., our Constitution and our values, as our most recent president?
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3094134/posts, posting #16.

No doubt but that conspiracy theories advance when key questions go unanswered and the evidence contradicts physics and forensics. The reason: there are no good answers that would be satisfactory to the media, which is afraid to even raise the possibility of LBJ’s involvement. New books out by Bill O’Reilly and Vincent Bugliosi duck the tough questions, and unlike a good murder mystery, we don’t have time to pay attention to all those important details that are available or to reason logically to a correct solution.
http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/the-men-who-killed-kennedy/

The crime may never be solved in a way most Americans will agree, especially if the documents still withheld don’t get released in the latter part of this century, as promised. Accepting that LBJ was a ringleader-killer would then cause us to admit that our great political system, the widely acclaimed democratic experiment with all its checks and balances, didn’t work, that we might be less pure than we thought we were. The Giant has gone back to sleep.

I had not thought about the Dorothy Kilgallen murder in years and it did lead to much speculation about the Ruby interview and the disappearance of her notes. It also reminds me of a book titled A TEXAN LOOKS AT LYNDON by J. Evetts Haley which was widely circulated during the Goldwater LBJ presidential race. Clearly, the truth about the JFK assassination is yet to be made known. Perhaps the Kilgallen murder was warning enough to other reporters of the consequences of pursuing clues leading to the culprit of JFKs murder.

But for the United States Air Force, a lot of people wouldn’t have lasted a week in the boonies. Just sayin’.

Oswald did it, maybe Johnson had something to do with it. It was all leftists. I no longer care. Someone, somewhere, knows the truth, but we will never know the truth.

Fact is, if this was a right wing thing, we would be hearing it 24/7 for 50 years. That is how you separate the wheat from the chaff, or truth from lies.

That’s for sure. Includes one of my brothers. I’ve thanked Air Force guys many times for saving our butts. Of course, Army pilots are included.

EVERYBODY is being given a squirrel show. The 40th anniversary didn’t get any NEAR this attention, even in Texas.

And the 40th anniversary of Ayers’ bombing of the pentagon in 1972 was COMPLETELY ignored even by the “down wif the struggles” bloggers.

From the Zapruder film, you can plainly see at least two times Kennedy was shot

You are right. I saw one news story where they played a sound recording of the shooting, overlayed on top the Zapruder film. It destroyed the single official theory.

Is that what she said? My thoughts were that either she panicked when she saw his head blow apart and wanted out of the limo, or she was trying to get to the ss agent to let him know what happened. Unless Mrs. Kennedy said why she was trying to climb on the back of the limo, everything else is conjecture.
