I have been thinking about this Duck Dynasty blow up. As some here know I am agnostic, a bit libertarian on social issues but a huge believer in the Bill of Rights.
I tend to avoid social issues here because as a guest of this site I know that my views on some of it would be antithetical and could lead to my banishment as I can get very heated in my arguments. Which is the same with A+E and Phil Robertson. As much as he is an employee of there's he is also a guest. We know however the bigger issue really isn't the fact A&E placed him on indefinite hiatus. The real problem is the forces behind it and their agenda.
A&E knew exactly what they had in Phil and his clan. The homosexual members of the crew that filmed and edited the show had to know. The members of GLAAD and the LGBT community are the villains in this, as they have been for years in other cases. I think it's important to read, reread and understand how the NAZI's and modern leftist's, especially organisations like GLAAD, ideologies match by reading the Nazi's official party program.
I am going to break down the parts of the 25 point program that apply to modern American leftists and GLAAD. I will redact either racial or national points that had to deal with Germanism, and general points that have no bearing on political positions.
7. We demand that the state be charged first with providing the opportunity for a livelihood and way of life for the citizens.
The NAZI's, much like the modern left, believed it was the job of the state to ensure economic security and to provide programs to ensure every worker has a job.
10. The activity of individuals is not to counteract the interests of the universality, but must have its result within the framework of the whole for the benefit of all.
In other words, what you do must be what benefits the state, and universal common sense, of course what is defined by the state.
11. Abolition of unearned (work and labour) incomes. Breaking of debt (interest)-slavery.
One of the most communist of the points. They aren't talking about income tax credits here, in fact quite the opposite. If your property, stocks, etc increased in value that value belonged to the state, if you didn't work for it you didn't earn it. The second part I think is a bit obvious, it deal with usury and "unethical" monetary loans.
12. In consideration of the monstrous sacrifice in property and blood that each war demands of the people, personal enrichment through a war must be designated as a crime against the people. Therefore we demand the total confiscation of all war profits.
I bet the Occupy crowd would wet the bed out of joy if this were to happen.
13. We demand the nationalisation of all (previous) associated industries (trusts).
Another confiscation scheme.
14. We demand a division of profits of all heavy industries.
Damned tax and spend conservatives.....not.
15. We demand an expansion on a large scale of old age welfare.
FDR probably gave them the idea.
16. We demand the creation of a healthy middle class and its conservation, immediate communalization of the great warehouses and their being leased at low cost to small firms, the utmost consideration of all small firms in contracts with the State, county or municipality.
After we break up the big companies, lets give it to small start ups and mom and pops, ESPECIALLY if they have contracts with the government.
17. We demand a land reform suitable to our needs, provision of a law for the free expropriation of land for the purposes of public utility, abolition of taxes on land and prevention of all speculation in land.
The land belongs to the Government and the government can decide what to do. As before with the unearned income, it stands to reason that housing and land speculation would need to go as well.
18. We demand struggle without consideration against those whose activity is injurious to the general interest. Common national criminals, usurers, profiteers and so forth are to be punished with death,
Those who make money are to be punished. Right now most leftists would deny the death punishment, but in the end ALL leftist take a sharp turn to ensure power through whatever means necessary.
19. We demand substitution of a German common law in place of the Roman Law serving a materialistic world-order.
The laws should reflect us not materialism. Or some rubbish.
20. The state is to be responsible for a fundamental reconstruction of our whole national education program, to enable every capable and industrious German to obtain higher education and subsequently introduction into leading positions. The plans of instruction of all educational institutions are to conform with the experiences of practical life. The comprehension of the concept of the State must be striven for by the school [Staatsbürgerkunde] as early as the beginning of understanding. We demand the education at the expense of the State of outstanding intellectually gifted children of poor parents without consideration of position or profession.
Yet another obviously modern left golden calf.
24. We demand freedom of religion for all religious denominations within the state so long as they do not endanger its existence or oppose the moral senses of the left(my words). The Party as such advocates the standpoint of a positive Christianity without binding itself confessionally to any one denomination. It combats the materialistic spirit within and around us, and is convinced that a lasting recovery of our nation can only succeed from within on the framework: The good of the state before the good of the individual.[9]
GLAAD and the left want's to own religion and put it in their terms. Replace Germanic races with leftist, remove the word Jewish and you have todays modern lefts view on religion.
This is the crux of the issue with A&E, GLAAD and Duck Dynasty. They want to control morality on their terms, the Bible on their terms, language on their terms. Freedon of speech on their terms.
I could have mentioned state control of media, by only those they deem worthy to do news and express morality on TV, in books etc. The point in all this is how dangerously close many leftists are to out and out Nazism.
Sure the far far right has its nut cases. But Phil Robertson isn't what I would consider far far right, despite the language, anybody who has watched one show of Duck Dynasty knows he doesn't speak from a point of hate or ill will. Most conservatives I know don't want to shut the liberal speech down, or limit their rights. I know some wish to ban homosexual behavior outright, but they are a minority. Most Christian's tend to turn the other cheek and in my opinion they have being doing that to their own detriment for years. Sometimes though they get agitated and speak up, and in a huge way. Unfortunately in all of this Phil's finer points are overlooked and tossed aside by those on the left. Love the sinner not the sin. Treat everyone equally and with respect and love. The pink NAZI's who claim to speak for Christians would do well to at least learn the bible enough to turn the other cheek when they get so upset.
The REAL reason for the lefties to protest is Capitalism. Everything boils down to that one thing.
And Christianity above even Capitalism.
They realate Capitalism as Colonialism through the spread of Christianity. IOW.... “White man’s rule”. That’s ingrained in Obama.
he’s not wrong, except that the homosexuals aren’t the only group that is engaged in implementing those points. and not by a long shot, either.
The controversy boils down to just this (in Romans 1) ...

THAT would certainly be “dynamite” to LGBT-types ... :-) ...

Also, in reference to what someone else said about homosexuality being another sin - just like all the sins listed in the Bible ... I’ll have to point out that it’s QUITE UNIQUE in comparison to other sins. I said the following in another posting elsewhere ...
The unique thing about what God said in Romans 1 — is that this particular sin is actually a “judgement” from God in that He has them debasing themselves in such a way. THIS (what the LGBTs promote) is actually God’s judgement upon them in that they are to do these things to themselves. They, therefore, receive god’s judgement in the “here and now” for clearly rejecting what god has made clear to the,.
SO ... while these are all sins - fornication, adultery, thieving, drunkenness, slandering, swindling - and will not be allowed into Heaven ... none of these are, in and of themselves - a condition which God imposes upon people for their rejection of what God has made clear to them,
On the other hand — the LGBT lifestyle is a specific condition and judgement of God Himself - upon these people,
AND THEREFORE, God has put upon them the absolute worst of the worst sin possible in a human being - in order to thoroughly DEBASE them to the ultimate extent in THIS LIFE, in the HERE AND NOW and not upon “Judgement Day”.
LGBT-people are a “walking advertisement” of God thoroughly debasing someone to the maximum extent possible, in a human being. They are walking around with a “neon flashing sign” — saying — “Look at me! God has not even waited until Judgement Day to judge me!”
The Left paints this educated man as a hick, but in fact he is a very smart and savvy entrepreneur.
Duck Dynasty’: Phil Robertson has master’s degree

The slow talking “happy, happy, happy” redneck star of A&E’s “Duck Dynasty” has a master’s degree in education. According to a report on March 1 from The Hollywood Gossip, Phil Robertson attended Louisiana Tech where he also played football.
“It is hard to imagine Phil Robertson with a master’s degree,” Lisa Simmons, from Oklahoma City, said. “If you can get past his beard and drawl and really listen to him, you can tell he is a very bright and intelligent man. Too many people judge a book by it’s cover. You can’t do that with Phil [Robertson].”
While earning his degrees, Phil Robertson also played a little football. He was the starting quarterback. Phil Robertson could have easily played for the NFL, but gave up football for hunting and fishing. Curious as to how good he was? Terry Bradshaw, the NFL great, was the back-up quarterback for Phil Robertson.
Although it may appear the Phil Robertson doesn’t use his master’s degree in education, but that may not be entirely true. He must have used his education when creating Duck Commander into a million dollar empire.
