Liberals in New York City have been waiting 20 years for this day. For the first time in that period, a Democrat has taken office as the citys mayor. Yes, there was Michael Bloomberg, but even he had a few redeeming qualities. Now with Bill DeBlasio taking office we can see a lot of smug people just telling everyone how wrong the rest of the country is.
Belafonte said that DeBlasio will fight against, the naysayers of progress in our midst and ridiculed Americas Dickensian justice system.

Belafonte: The Stalinist Black Lex Luthor.
Did he sing Day-O ?
Marxist/Racist Harry Bellefonte fresh off his Kennedy Center “honors”.
NYC is going to get what they deserve.
Mayor Dinkins. Also comes in white.
Common sense, rational / criitical thinking, empathy, humility, etc... These traits do not reside in the brains of liberals. And they’re about to get exactly what they deserve...
Mayor Wilhelm the “candy man” about to send the city into Detroit status.
Hey Harry - Go tally your bananas. You’re not good for much else.
These people are deranged, as are the nuts who elected DeBlockhead.
The problem with the Left is they think they have a right to take (steal) the little red hen’s bread without working for it...while telling you that you can’t have any if theirs...
Let’s get this party started !!
Yeah but the rest of us pay for it when it’s time for the bailout.
Dinkins was a dope. DeBlasio is a Marxist.
This is a mournful day. New York should be adorned in black crepe.
From the banana boat anchored in the East River.
Man, I remember the train cars looking like that, and I don’t miss it.
Other than the newer cars it looks much like it did in the early 1970’s when I had to go to tech school there. What a pit!
Here's the same stretch of 42nd Street, as it appears today, largely thanks to Guiliani and Bloomberg.
Bloomberg and Deblasio don’t see the graffiti on that old subway car as evil. The biggest evil is that cigarette ad.
There was actually an abundance of idiots, often from elsewhere but living in New York for their couple of years, hanging out with others doing the same thing and having their New York Experience (tm), who would decry how things were being cleaned up and call for a return to a seedier Times Square, etc. Now they just try to farm on rooftops, sip organic lattes, keep bees in urban backyards, and sing about how Brooklyn should be nice to them, etc. So, that’s improved too.
