The Polar Vortex Thing Sounds too "Wag the Doggish" for me

The country is under attack by a record breaking cold wave with subzero temperatures we haven't heard about since, well...the first half of the twentieth century, which must seem strange to all you well coddled millennials out there, but yes....it use to get really...really cold when I was growing up in the 1950s.

And wait until you hear what it was like when my father was growing up in the 1920s and the local salt water river that flows into the city from the Atlantic froze solid. But I know its hard to conceive of something like that when all you ever learned from science class was the importance of "recycling our trash" because of the evil oil companies and those stupid conservatives.

Yet I have noticed that if it is BIG NAME well known conservative blogger, even if it is one say for example that may have even a radio show, there is a tendency for even a Humblegunner to back off and leave the thread alone or the writer in question alone so as not to be viewed as a troll. But that is me.

.....Some of the posts I see are great for a chuckle, and in a special way, on very, very extreme cold days like these. Stay safe.

Back in a time when news organization actually reported the news, “polar vortexes” were called “arctic air” or “cold fronts.”

It had to be a blizzard warning before the news started making a big deal about a snow event. News organizations assumed we were smart enough to wear warm clothing without being told it was cold.

If they're big enough, they don't come around pimping their own stuff and redirecting traffic onto their blogs.

Someone posting other folks material because it is of interest isn't pimping.

Big or small, if it posted in its entirety, that isn't pimping.

It's the no-name little wankers that post excerpts in order to score some hits that are a problem.

Less and less a problem every day.

Yes now.

Like this post for example:

What possible reason could that person have for not posting the full content?

I’d stick to that...it’s a good version of events.

I don’t see pics of you very often, because you are usually on the other side of the camera.
