The Rediscovery of a Super Antibiotic?
Colloidal silver appears to be a powerful, natural antibiotic and preventative against infections. Honey: its medicinal property and antibacterial activity

Indeed, medicinal importance of honey has been documented in the world’s oldest medical literatures, and since the ancient times, it has been known to possess antimicrobial property as well as wound-healing activity. The healing property of honey is due to the fact that it offers antibacterial activity, maintains a moist wound condition, and its high viscosity helps to provide a protective barrier to prevent infection. The medical grade honeys have potent in vitro bactericidal activity against antibiotic-resistant bacteria causing several life-threatening infections to humans. But, there is a large variation in the antimicrobial activity of some natural honeys, which is due to spatial and temporal variation in sources of nectar.

Thus, identification and characterization of the active principle(s) may provide valuable information on the quality and possible therapeutic potential of honeys (against several health disorders of humans), and hence we discussed the medicinal property of honeys with emphasis on their antibacterial activities.

I’ve seen suarkraut mentioned here on FR as good for flu etc. I did some searches. It’s not the store bought or cooked, but home made uncooked that has the great probiotics. I didn’t realize how easy it was to make either.

Maybe I need to say it plainer? While I said silver does have antibiotic properties but like almost anything that can do some good or even excellent in certian control or niche there are always snake oil charlatans that promote this good in to something that they are not and many sufer for trusting them. Is that plain enough? LOL!!!!

Sir, do your homework. ChicagoLady has it right. Silver is not in the category of ‘heavy metals’. Silver is an antibiotic. And doctors have used silver nitrate in the eys of the newborn for years to prevent certain venereal diseases. Bacteria and Viruses do not become immune to the beneficial effects of silver.

If Sir Alexander Fleming had not given us Penicillin many years ago, we would still be using silver and iodine, along with magnesium chloride and a few other basic emergency room medicines to prevent serious disease outbreaks and to cure emergency situations.

Magnesium chloride tonic at therapeutic dosing cured polio. In 24 to 48 hours. Google it. The info is there. Iodine cures disease, makes polluted water safe to drink. Reverses the poisoning effects of fluorides, such as is in our municipal water supplies. Iodine can help reverse the clogging of arteries.

Another neglected medicine is vitamin C. Megadoses. All animals except primates (includes humans) and guinea pigs make their own vitamin C...in megadoses when it is needed. Liposomal Vitamin C allows us to take megadoses orally without the downside of loose stool, and it is immediately into the blood stream and available to the cells. More miracle medicine.

We could go on...allopathic medicine has no treatment for seriously damaged or diseased livers. Alpha Lipoic Acid, Milk Thistle Extract, and Selenium work together to regenerate the liver and other organs. No antibiotic can do what this triple antioxidant combination can do.

As a preventative, I would recommend Vitamin D3 at about 10,000 iu per day. Not toxic. Better than a flu shot. Better than any vaccine.

I could go on, but this is a good introduction to what ‘natural medicine’ can do if allopathic medicine’s tools are not available or are ineffective.

Thank you for posting the links to Dr Bones articles. However, when the SHTF many will not have access to conventional antibiotics, especially not in any kind of quantities, and many of these antibiotics will prove ineffective because of bacterial resistance (viruses are not affected by antibiotics).

It is easy for anyone to stockpile the natural things like colloidal silver, iodine, magnesium chloride, etc in preparation for the comming collapse. Not so easy to find the antibiotics that might not be effective anyway.
