Whens the last time you saw a conservative lose his primary and then turn around and endorse the Democrat out of spite?
Thats not exactly what happened today when moderate former Sen. John Warner, R-Va., endorsed Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., whom he had defeated in 1996, over former RNC Chairman Ed Gillespe. But its not that different, either...

This RINO needs to read and heed Reagan’s words
Joe Schwarz former Michigan 7th district congressman has repeatedly endorsed anyone other than “extremist” Tim Walberg whether they were republican or democrat.
Let’s not forget Newt’s betrayal in NY-23
Dick Lugar worked tirelessly behind the scenes for Donnelly in 2012. Well known fact Lugar requested RINO Leadership in Lake Co to be “neutral” in Senate race.
Whatever Newt's faults are, he did actually endorse the Republican in that race. That makes him a good Republican, not necessarily a good conservative.
These are free shots by so-called GOP moderates. There needs to be a severe price paid for such betrayals. Unless, there is, party discipline cannot be maintained. The Rats are so much better at maintaining party unity and it shows in their steady reformation of the US into a socialist state.
Remember when John Warner and Ted Stevens abstained from voting in the senate because both Ted Kennedy and Robert Byrd were in the hospital...so that the bill being voted on would have the same result as if they were there??
Neither Kennedy nor Byrd would have done the same thing for Stevens and Warner if THEY were in the hospital, they would have jumped on the opportunity to ram something through in their absence.
This is what moderate republicans do. They are democrat handmaidens. Placeholders who vote with the democrats until people who actually call themselves democrats take the seat. In Virginia, Warner replaced Warner, and who can tell the difference??
“GOP moderates are not team players”
Yes they are, they just play for the other team.
