Girl Scouts is not a political organization and we do not advocate on any position. Further, neither girls nor volunteers are allowed to promote another organization in their role with Girl Scouts. When working in an official capacity, both girls and adults are to uphold the Girl Scout Promise and Law in all they say and do."Even 50 years ago, the picture would not have been considered political. The equivalent guns of the day, M1 Garands and M1 carbines, were not controversial. You could buy them through the mail, and the government encouraged such purchases. A boy or girl scout troop that posed with adults holding such rifles would merely have been seen as picturesque. 50 years of infringements on second amendment rights have resulted in the current situation.

Agreed. These blatantly partisan attacks on anyone daring to exercise their Rights, particularly RKBA, need to be met head on with derision and scorn.
We either take back what is rightfully ours, or they will gleefully continue take it from us.

Jeez, I hope the LIBS at the Girl Scouts USA’s HQ don’t have a cow...
The sportsmen’s club I’ve belonged to since 1987 includes trap,
r&p, and 5 star archery range along with a clubhouse with liquor
and beer bar, and a kitchen. During the school year we host 120
4H kids ages 10-18yrs of age one Saturday each mth for the 4H
shooting program. Specially trained members teach kids guns and
gun safety. Then it is out to the ranges to demonstrate learning
by doing. The kids compete with other 4Hers around the country
in postal shoot competitions. The kids are uniformly attentive
even during long class lectures. Parents and kids all love the
program and it is all free of charge.
Two side notes: We are located in rural Northern California and
General Chuck Yeager has been a club member since 1982.
Given how close the leadership of the Girl Scouts is with Planned Parenthood, it is only a matter of time before the go Full Liberal on gun too.
