For the record, I'll not be watching the Super Bowl on Sunday. That being said, there seems to be as much talk about the inevitable Super Bowl ads that companies produce. Many of them are classics, including several from Budweiser. I found the story behind this year's Budweiser Super Bowl ad on Facebook and after watching it, finding myself in tears for a good portion of the story, I can do nothing less than share it with my readers.
The Budweiser ad tells the story of Lt. Chuck Nadd and his homecoming to Winter Park, FL. The video I have embedded below tells the story behind the story and how the homecoming came together to honor one of our heroes. Yes, the ad is designed to showcase the Budweiser stagecoach and the beautiful horses that pull it, but it goes much deeper than that. The back story highlights why it is so important for the men and women who are coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan to know how much we appreciate their service. And while you are at it, find a Vietnam veteran and tell them thanks.
I doubt you can watch the video without shedding a few tears.

The Anheiser Busch company has always produced some truly wonderful moments in advertising history
Nice
Gee I wonder if ryan is going to be there to stab him in the back?
They sure do don't they? Politically, I wonder where they are? Have to look into it.
LD Jackson thanks for posting this :)
The ads are good but the beer sucks.
Nice story, just to bad their beer taste like horse piss. Oh but the horses are beautiful.
My screen got real blurry all of a sudden......
How can you say that? I have found their beer perfect for those times I want to get a really bad headache, works every time!
My father and I had that same reaction to that swill.
I pray everyday that we can rise together and give Americans the inspiration and courage to clean the bastards out of our congress that respect neither the Oath of Office they took nor those of us who believe in it.
you have not lived until you have tasted really bad beer like brew102 or old style
Very nice!
