There’s much, much more coming on the Fuddy issue. The frustrating thing about making mistakes is then that becomes the focus rather than the things that really CAN be said.

For now, on the Fuddy issue, those include:

It’s a different pall on the image with the hands than on the photo where the pall is lifted onto the closed casket. It’s the wrong color, and the only way you get a reverse image is on a woven piece of fabric, which is machine-created and then sewn onto the big piece of fabric, leaving the wrong side unexposed.

The “head board” end of the casket has a different shape in KITV’s images of the casket than the Honolulu Diocese’s image from the funeral. I’ve got images. Darn it; I keep forgetting how to insert images. Argh. My brain is fried. Anyway, I’ve got an image at http://butterdezillion.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/body-close-up-with-reference-points-added.jpg , at http://butterdezillion.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/friends-file-past-at-other-funeral.jpg?w=450&h=314 , and at http://butterdezillion.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/diocese-profile-two-tier.jpg?w=629&h=356 with red lines inserted to show the discrepancy in the profile of the head-board end of the caskets claimed to be at Fuddy’s funeral.

There’s also evidence of photoshopping in the KITV video. That’s better left to the experts to explain so I’ll wait until that explanation is ready.

Somebody who called himself James Ahlo said he worked with Fuddy and was there and saw her “resting in peace” - but also talked about some photo being “shameless”, “purporting to be” taken at the funeral. I only used the photos from KITV and the Honolulu Diocese so I asked him to clarify which photo was “purporting to be” (but apparently really wasn’t) taken at the funeral. He didn’t respond.

There’s more regarding Fuddy’s “death”. But for now, this should be digested. I’m really sorry that my mistake distracted from these other points that don’t rely on knowing how to use Word.

"It’s a different pall on the image with the hands than on the photo where the pall is lifted onto the closed casket."

Here is an example of a hand embroidered design that is essentially reversible. With a negative of the front pattern showing on the underside. When they folded back the pall to open the casket lid the underside was exposed.

There is no such thing as a 2-tier casket.

Go to google or bing and do an image search for casket. My goodness! - there are hundreds of photos of caskets and every single one, without exception, has a flat top for the base, with a flat corresponding bottom for the lid. Every. Single. One.

There is a slightly sharper version of the church photo. Download http://www.hawaiicatholicherald.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/1lorettafuddyfuneral.jpg. It may be more obvious there. On the back left of the casket is a hinge. It’s obvious that they have aesthetically draped the casket lining over the hinge to hide it from the mourners. You can see that the casket lid has a large puffy-liner around its inner edge. Look at the puffy-liner on the lid where it connects to the base of the casket. The puffy-liner stops at the base which appears to be just below Fuddy’s folded arms. That’s where the lid connects to the base.

There is only one casket and the church’s photo shows the same casket as the videos.

By the way, there is a bit of brown near that rear hinge. That is clearly the candle stand behind the casket.

So everybody can see what I'm talking about on the different profiles for the "headboard" end of the casket, I've drawn red lines parallel to the edge shapes/lines I'm talking about:
