The Kansas legislature just recently considered a bill (it passed the Kansas House but failed in the Senate) which would have protected the free exercise of religion for faith-driven businessmen in the public square, as well as their constitutional rights to freedom of speech and association.
The bill would have protected Christian businessmen from the bullying and bigotry that bakers, florists and photographers have experienced at the hands of Big Gay in states such as Oregon, Washington and New Mexico.

Stanley went on to say, Serving people we dont see eye to eye with is the essence of Christianity. I agree. The question for Stanley then is simple: if there is anyone Christ did not see eye to eye with it was the Pharisees. How exactly did he serve them? By telling them the truth and by refusing to retreat or capitulate in the face of their withering and eventually lethal criticism. He served them by standing without compromise for the abiding standards of the word of God.

Well I hope the people of Arizona are happy, they’ve embarrassed Veruca McCain.
>>@MeghanMcCain
The state that I grew up in and love so much is literally making discriminating against citizens legal. HOW IS THIS AMERICAN OR RIGHT?!?<<
Didn’t Kansas throw a PC fit when the legislature attempted to block Sharia Law from consideration in lawsuits?
More lipstick! Meghan needs more lipstick!
Show how gays passed down their traditions from generation to generation of their decedents in spite of heterosexuals bigotry.
Call it “The Stool Chronicles.”
If Christians want to know how to live their faith the read the Bible. They certainly wouldn’t consult a demonic politician.
I think this must be the Andy Stanley who is the Son of Charles Stanley.
I remember a guy who really liked Andy. Unfortunately that guy while claiming to be a Christian was extremely liberal.
How about just ban Christians from buying and selling without the mark?
I think that was Oklahoma and it was the courts that had the fit.
If I owned a hardware store and a guy came into the store and bought a pair of pliers I have no problem whatsoever. He might be straight, gay, or, a space alien. To me it matters none. I had the product, he had the money, we made the transaction.......done.
If I own a bakery and a guy walks in and orders a wedding cake, I say fine. If he tells me that he wants “Eddy & Steve Happily Ever After” iced upon it I say “I’ll make you the best wedding cake you ever saw and I’ll charge you good for it, but, I will not ice that onto this cake. You can pick it up at so-and-so date and time and then have whatever iced upon it by whoever you like and I don’t care about that. Will that work?” He says “yes” and we got a deal. He says “no” and we don’t. Pretty simple it seems.
If I a gun shop owner and a guy walks in and wants a .45 and has the money and he passes the checks, deal done. If he wants the .45 to be engraved with “Death to Homos” I say “whoa, I’ll sell you the gun but I will not engrave that on it and you can get that done somewhere else” am I wrong? Is this not the same context?
I’m offering a basic, quality product and I’ll sell it at advertised rate. If they want it customized I can decline to do so. I take your money, I provide the agreed to product and you get it customized by someone else who agrees to do it. Just saying.....
Megan doesn’t need more cowbell. She just needs one to hang around her neck.
Rich wants Charles to have a word with his boy.
Veruca? I figured her more for Violet Beauregard.
It will have to air on HBO for it to accurately portray the level of perversion.
Then again maybe the networks would make an exception for “Gay roots”. They did not censor the f word while showing “Schindler’s List” on broadcast TV.
Sadly enough actors have not “come out” for it to have an all openly gay cast but that’s ok, some liberal “normies” are strangely eager to “play gay” for some reason.
It would be real funny to cast Kevin Spacey for this!
Amber Heard too, so we can hear lesbians insist she’s one of them despite the fact that she can’t stay out of Johnny Depp’s pants!
Christian businessperson- a person entirely under the domination of some influence or person gays.
You come in my home you know immediately we are Christians.
Business owners should do the same.
Have religious symbols in your business to let Everyone know where you stand.
And if some heathen comes in to your shop and feels uncomfortable then they can freaken leave.
I fear it’s coming.
That is one of the best arguments I’ve seen on the subject.
.
abc is already making a documentary featuring a history of the gay rights struggle. it will be aired later this year.
