Josh Lang's Photos of the Fuddy Crash Are Not the Same Plane
Butterdezillion's Blog ^ | 2-23-14 | Butterdezillion

Posted on 02/23/2014 3:09:07 PM PST by butterdezillion

The photos of the Loretta Fuddy Cessna crash that Josh Lang provided to the media? They weren't of the same plane. The plane that crashed with Fuddy in it had a window between the door and the tail; Lang's photos don't. (I've got photos at my blog and in the first post I'll post them so you can compare the 2 planes)

Lang apparently had photos of a DIFFERENT plane ditching in the water and gave them to the media, claiming they were of this crash, and apparently the media didn't check out the genuineness of the photos...

Now why would Lang do that? Why would he post images of the area with no passengers or anything else in the water ANYWHERE, rather than taking photos of what was actually there and giving those to the media?

Cool graphic, proving nothing.

Thanks, and you are correct. It's not even evidence.

Two of them?

How many people do you know who have TWO Go-Pro cameras - and just happen to have one of them turned on and videotaping other passengers when the plane’s warning horn goes off - and the other one hanging around their neck?

He took one photo from a distance, he flew to the island for help, he taxied to the airport office, found no one there, got back in the aircraft, taxied back to the runway, (or ran both ways, who knows?) then took off down the runway and flew back to the scene, where he took the next photograph of the aircraft already party sumberged and the people had drifted away a considerable distance. They were hard enough to spot from the air, that the first crews over, had to drop flares.
just IMO.

“But now the question becomes what happened to the people?”

It’s quite simple. The people were swept away by the ocean currents. It takes only a few minutes for the currents to move these people one or more football fields away from the aircraft. Withing a half hour the ocean currents can carry people in the water one or more miles away from the place they entered the water. The channel these people were in is notorious for having extraordinarily strong and treacherous ocean currents.

Don’t you guys even listen?

I am NOT the person saying Fuddy was killed.

If the project was to fake her death but make sure she stayed alive, I’d be sure to have video proving that I didn’t kill her in the process. Lots of video. Like maybe 2 GoPro cameras’ worth.

You have to look at the photo in post 3 to see it. The shadow on the fuselage is closer to the upraised door with window. The shadow on the wing comes from the larger rudder that is further back at the tail. The two shadows are pointing in the same direction.

“Two of them?

Yes, two of them. It is so common, they even sell cases made specially to hold two of the cameras. See Amazon:

POV Case 3.0 Large GoPro-Edition Black
by SP Gadgets
Price: $59.90 & FREE Shipping

Two GoPro cams are sometimes used to produce 3-dimensional videos:

HD 3D FPV - 3D Winter - RCExplorer (2 GoPros) (Aerial video) . David Windestål·75 videos
.Uploaded on Feb 25, 2011
Filmed with two GoPro’s mounted on a Tricopter.

Being suspicious of a person having and using 2 GoPro cameras is totally unwarranted, especially flying around a place offering beautiful vistas like the Hawaiian Islands.

When Puentes took the photo of the passengers sitting on the wing, he was at the end of the wing. When he took this photo he was farther away from the plane with the other passenger. That's why you don't see them in the Lang photo. The plane was still floating but the passengers had moved away. That may be the door just to the right of the tail fin.

Just for completeness, I posted this earlier at the other thread:

For the readers here who would like to read the first hand account of Ferdinand Puentes, the Hawaiian who videotaped the crash, look here: https://www.facebook.com/notes/ferdinand-puentes/my-kalaupapa-plane-crash-experience/710835728950747.

Ferdinand talks about the comfort he felt from seeing another airplane flying over them.

He also did a Facebook share on Jan 29 to Butterdezillion’s blog where she is analyzing pictures of him and others. He and his friends were less than impressed with the effort.

“One thing I wonder about : in lang’s picture, there is a foot wide shadow across the top of the left wing. What is causing the shadow?”

Tail fin. See image in above post 212.

“OK then why isn’t part of the door visible & sticking out of the water; the lower edge of the door should be up above the roof line, as seen in the puentes vid ..”

Maybe it was open and then closed?
Simple answers sometimes are right. Waves, someone crawled over it. etc...?

Keep in mind, too, that the wingspan of the aircraft is 52’. The folks floating, from above, are maybe 2’ x 2’. So 1/26th the width of the wingspan. They aren’t going to be very big on this picture.

What msn (Manufacturer’s Serial Number) do you show for the aircraft in those flights? The aircraft that was ditched has Serial Number 208B1002.
