One of the most important freedoms sought by our Founding Fathers was the right to free speech. Under the British monarchy, they were not allowed to criticize or say anything against the King or British government. To do so could mean imprisonment or worse. This is what prompted them to make free speech the first item guaranteed by the Bill of Rights.

Over the past several years, we’ve seen a growing number of attempts to limit free speech by the Obama administration. Barack Obama has used the IRS to target his political enemies in such way as to penalize them for exercising their rights of free speech. He has the NSA spying on our emails, phone calls and text messages, looking for things to use against us. He has used the courts to quell the free speech and the exercise of religion of Christians in their business dealings and messages from the pulpit.

Now, a columnist for the Harvard Crimson, the university’s campus newspaper is telling school officials that they need to start abolishing free speech and research that goes against the school’s liberal ideology. Sandra Korn, a senior wrote (The Doctrine of Academic Freedom Let’s give up on academic freedom in favor of justice) in which she states:.......

The examples she gives in her articles demonstrates her view that if anything differs from the liberal, pro-feminist, pro-homosexual and anti-traditional family values of the majority of academics and students on the Harvard campus, they should not be allowed.

Good Lord! I wonder if the Harvard alumni is aware of this

She has the looks of the typical inane LIB young student who doesn’t know her arse from a hole in the ground. Have her parents disowned her as yet?

When doing the Great Work of Gaia, all must yield as “justice” trumps liberty. With complete certitude in their vision they pursue the “final solution” to what was once known as The U.S.A.

On the Harvard Crimson page, the comments are shredding Ms. Korn.

Funny that she has the same name as a rather good-looking girl that used to go on the Howard Stern show . . .

I think she IS the female version of PB. The glasses, the eyebrows, the kinky hair, the smug expression...she's got it all. A red plaid outfit would really set it off.

At least this fascist is honest, you can bet that the vast majority of leftists agree with the need to shut down all dissent, but won’t admit it.

Most Harvard Alumni might agree. Then again, its not like Harvard needs any money from their alumni.

Every idea and molecule of political correctness needs a competitor to contest it.

They think that conservatives will be THAT popular?

They have most of the news media and still they’re worried about losing a voice?

They aren’t flattering their own viewpoint very much.

Have her parents disowned her as yet?

This is pure spectulation, but I'd guess they are thrilled. She's an east coast Jewish girl.

Here’s their problem: They own the news media, newspapers and magazines, the entertainment industry, academia and the K-12 unionist structure, yet nearly twice as many people self-identify as conservatives than they do as liberals.

They’re flummoxed as to what to do other than ban conservative thoughts and speech altogether.

That would be redundant to banning conservatism.
